The hotel had everything we needed. Staff were very accommodating. Bed was too hard for our liking. Shower didn’t look very appealing however it was powerful and hot water.

Sheets and towels were clean. Smell of hotel and bathroom were like a public restroom. No hot water.

Excellent location: 5 minutes to the Rialto water station, 7 minutes to San Marco Square. Good value for money, excellent cleaning service, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts

Staff helpful and friendly. Great location.

Very old hotel which needs upgrading. Booking does not mention there are SEVERAL hotels managed by same company dotted around the area. On the first day I was given a different room to the one I booked it was dark small and very smelly with mould in the standing shower. After speaking to the hotel manager for some time she then moved us to another room for the first night temporarily and found us another room for the remainder of our trip. Our final room was big but again quite old. Hotel cleaning staff are very polite and hardworking and a do a very good job in keeping the rooms tidy. Do your research before you book this hotel

Great central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with an unusually wide choice of 'continental' and 'cooked breakfast' items.
Tea/coffee at the San Luca was in a common area, but sadly the coffee machine wasn't working - hopefully now fixed!

Close to shopping, restaurants, water taxi and St. Mark’s Plaza. Helpful staff. The only thing I missed was coffee in the room.

Easy to walk around saint marks square. 15-20 minute walk to train station.

Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to room. Lobby smelly. Stairs in the room at the foot of the bed. Very difficult to walk around.

Very good location near City of Venice, to all the local amenities, attractions and buzzing crowds.

We loved Harley!!! He checked us in and was great and carried my bag that was so heavy. Sweet person and very kind and helpful.

Convenient access to St. Marks Square. Colorful decorated room. A bit noisy at night from people on the street below. Bed was hard and could use a mattress topper. Staff was excellent and very helpful!

We loved our stay in Venezia (Venice) … the hotel is centrally located to lots of restaurants and lots of good shopping areas … from high end to normal. Even though we were in a central location we couldn’t here any of the street noise … and we were able to get a good nights rest.

I didn’t realize there were so many stairs to the apartment. I was traveling with mobility impaired people and it was a problem. The apartment was ok, but it could have been cleaner. We accidentally left our passports and when we realized it, we called the night clerk who was extremely rude and screamed at my sister. The next day we traveled from Rome to retrieve the passports and Kiara was absolutely lovely. She had us check to see that the contents were accounted for and served us cappuccino. She really made up for the nastiness of the night clerk. She needs to be the face of this hotel.

Great location, canal views. Perfect for seeing Venice.

Hotel San Luca is in a perfect location on a side street very close to the Rialto Bridge vaporetto ferry stop making quick access to other parts of Venice. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and fit the feel that goes with Venice. We will definitely look for Hotel San Luca in our next visit to this amazing and unique city!

Perfunctory cleaning, left dirty cups and missed cleaning dustbins on some days. Broken remote. Upsell pressure from moment we arrived. Overpriced.

This hotel is part of another hotel with a different name. They weren't very helpful in finding their location within Venice. We spent time asking shop owners where this was. Once we figured out where the hotel was, we found out that it was associated with another one down the street which was the surprise.

We arrived exhausted at 11 pm to Venice. When I booked it said annex to the hotel. I sent an email saying my mother is handicap to make sure there is an elevator. I saw 3 emails through expedia asking me when we would check in nothing about the annext situation which was claimed was sent. Usually what this means is that it is a building connected to the hotel. It was not. It was not. It was a walk and over 2 stories steps with my handicap mother. Staff were okay. Harley was as nice as he could be. But I was disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. The place was not very clean or comfortable. The floor in the room was uneven. And the ac in the rooms needed to keep the windows open, it was loud and barely made the rooms cold and we had issues with mosquitos which my son is allergic to. The closets had extra towels and sheets in it as storage and the bathroom had a space where all the cleaning supplies were. I did not want to ruin my vacation in venice but would never repeat it again.

Worst registration staff in the world! Rude and lack professionalism! Management is run by Asian staff who dlforgit that customer is king; they act as if they are doing you a favor! Simply put, bait and switch hotel!

Good property conveniently located 4-5 mins walk from Rialto bridge boat stop and about 5-7 mins from San Marco Square. Very friendly service and good breakfast. Kamel was always cheerful while serving guests in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and water and coffee was complimentary. The restaurant is located in the hotel across the street. You check in there as well. Streets are narrow bylanes. A key opens the front door and the property is safe. Recommended.

I liked how easy was access to hotel, restaurant, shopping and public transit.

This was perfect. Our family was completely comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Very well air conditioned, and was needed as it was very hot.

One night only in Venice. Very friendly staff and great breakfast for a very reasonable price. I was surprised to find that we had booked an apartment in a different location, but the bedrooms were spacious. Tiny bathroom.

We did not like the alley way to the apartment or the narrow stairway. The apartment itself was cute but the shower was small and there was very little hot water. The air conditioner was noisy. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to get to st.marks and rialto bridge. Lots of great stores and restaurants in the area.

This hotel really caters to you. April from the front desk was a gem. Excellent customer service. She made us feel like if we were her only customers. We loved to have coffee available to us 24 hrs. Highly recommend this place. Ciao!

walking distance to Rialto and Sant Marc square

Loved it here! It was in a central location, easy to get to by waterbus from the train station and a short walk. And close to both the Rialto bridge and San Marco square. It was clean and relatively spacious. There was no elevator but the stairs weren’t too horrible. We had a little snafu with the shower (no one’s fault!) but they fixed it quickly with absolutely no trouble to us. The reception is in a different building a short walk away but it really wasn’t an issue at all. I would honestly happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a decently priced hotel in Venice walking distance from all the major must see spots!
