Hotel Centro Cavour

We had a very short stay, but it was a wonderful one! We arrived a little earlier than expected after getting off our cruise, and the hotel was able to accommodate us so we could freshen up before making the most of our limited time in Rome. We really appreciated their flexibility. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. We were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and two bottles of water, which was a thoughtful touch. The balcony also offered a lovely view of the city. The location is fantastic—just a 2-minute walk to the Colosseum and about a 15-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, cafés, and gelato spots nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Try the gelato, baked goods and cappuccino from the cafe. At the corner! The bathroom was beautiful, with a spacious shower, a bidet, and a wonderful layout. Breakfast was included and was the perfect way to start our early day. There was an excellent selection of both hot and cold options, and the coffee machine made just about every coffee drink imaginable! The staff were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Everyone we encountered was so kind. And the complimentary candies at the front desk were a delicious little bonus—you have to try them! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Great location 5 minutes from the train station. Beautiful spacious room. Only complaint was no coffee maker in the room.

Excellent location! 5 min walk from the Roman Colosseum. We could see the Roman Forum from our room. Super clean. The staff very welcoming and helpful. The room was ready upon our arrival before the check in time. The metro station was right around the corner with lots of restaurants within a block distance. We loved it!

Staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good with staff quick to replace food or dishes when needed.
