About this apartment hotel
Casa Gori is located on the first floor of a 15th-century building, just five minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and a 15-minute walk from the S.M.N. train station. This beautiful suite is perfect for those who want to experience the local scene in Florence.
This suite is furnished with original antique furniture dating from the 1500s to the 1700s for guests to enjoy, as well as artwork from the same period adorning the walls.
The suite has private access to the garden, which is exclusive to the house and shared only with my mother and two other rental units. Every museum and monument is a 20-minute walk away.
Santo Spirito, the neighborhood where Casa Gori is located, is the only neighborhood in the historic center still inhabited by Florentines, where you can experience the authentic Florentine atmosphere: local markets, small artisan shops, and restaurants serving traditional cuisine.

Owner could improve shower by installing a shower curtain. The shower was on the small side and was very difficult to use without getting water all over the floor. Also, exhaust fan was intermittent.Otherwise good.

Romantic, large room with (excellent) coffee machine, tea, dining table, bathroom . . .and access to an outdoor courtyard and laundry! This is across the river from most of the bigger tourist attractions, more of a neighborhood, with markets and restaurants galore.
