While not located directly in the touristy quarter, this hostel is well connected by bus. It’s located in a leafy, quiet neighbourhood with many good dining options around. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the corner, overlooking green courtyards. Waking up in the morning wrapped in the morning light felt exceptionally lovely. Note that the elevator is only for luggage. The interior and several sitting rooms are well decorated and I can see the ground floor being some sort of venue, but no events were held while we are here so it was very quiet. The air conditioner works perfectly.
The bathroom could use some touch-up, but it was clean and spacious. Even in autumn mosquitos were plenty in Florence, and we had to keep the windows close all the time after several got in. It would be nice to have something to catch the mozzies as they wake us up at night and I got a few nasty bites.

Location very good. Lovely common spaces, lovely common living rooms and kitchenette!
WiFi perfect.
The reception was open only from 13:00-20:00 but a few times it was closed berore 20:00. The owner a lady was quite rude when I arrived earlier and found her there accidentalyy. She was saying that reception is open at 13:00. Her English was fine so no t an issue of misanderstanting.... I said I only want to store my luggage until opening times. She was shockingly rure.
However Ticiano the employee at teh reception was a very polute and happy person, a contracst to that rude person.
Secondly when the reception was closed, the internal courtyard was closed as well.....

Location was great. Close to transportation yet outside the ZTL.
The AC kept switching off at night. There were mosquitoes in the room.

"It was easy to find. A location felt very safe. Parking price was ok.
Room was nice, it had aircon, clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Tovels were soft and there was enough water for all of us ..."
