There is no boiling pot in room.There is no air-condition in room,during July was very hot.There was no hairdresser

A very cozy hotel near a neat castle with a woods area that opened up into a beautiful valley view. Quiet, clean and the themed rooms were fun. The staff were wonderful and always had a smile on their face. I traveled with my dog and it’s in a great location to explore Saxony and the National Park.

Everything was super high standard. Rooms are thematically decorated and very clean. We spent a prolonged weekend with our dog and all was very good. Service and rstaurant was very fast and great. Right nnext to the hotel you can have beautiful exhibition of Burg Stolpen.

Location next to the castle. Some of the staff are very friendly.
It’s all a bit outdated and traditional. I think the location makes it so expensive. Not sure why so many like it so much.

What makes this hotel stand out is the excellent service. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We had an issue with our booking and they found an immediate solution and were happy to compensate for the mishap. During our stay we were always greeted with smiles and we always felt supported and taken care of. The room was spacious and clean, and we really appreciated the extra care they took to protect their guests in these times of COVID-19. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the evening restaurant delicious. The hotel is 20-30 minute drive from the National Park, it was easy for us to move around the area and get to the different hiking points.
The room could be better isolated from the corridor and other rooms. Specially in the morning when the other guests are starting their day, it gets very loud. Also the mattresses could use an upgrade, the beds were not very comfortable.
