About this house rental
Located in Washington, this lovely house for $2,187 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Manzanita - by far the best house in town! This craftsman built home will keep you in awe, with floor to ceiling picture windows throughout the entire house with unobstructed views of the ocean and Neahkahnie Mountain. You enter into a spacious living room that features a floor to ceiling stone wood burning fireplace, large vaulted ceilings, TV/DVD and Gig speed wireless internet. The living room is open to the large gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a professional gas cook top stove. The entire family can enjoy a meal together with a dining table for ten while looking out at the ocean. This level also has two master suites, each with a King bed and French doors leading out to the ocean patio that offers spectacular ocean views. Enjoy the views from the privacy of the Jacuzzi tub or cuddle in front of the gas fireplace in the master suite. There is also a third bedroom on this level that has a Queen bed. Upstairs is a large gathering/game room that overlooks the living room area and the ocean. This room features a kitchenette and mini fridge with a table for four, great for playing cards or board games. There is even a small table for the kids complete with toys to keep them busy for hours! You can also sit on the east facing deck and enjoy the sunrise every morning with a cup of coffee or under the stars and snuggle around the outdoor fire in the custom-built fire pit on the ocean patio. This level also features three bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed that has French doors leading out to a private deck with spectacular ocean views. A second bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin/Double bunk bed. The third bedroom is a large room that can double as a media room with two Twin/Double bunk beds with pull out trundles and a large sectional sofa where you can stretch out and relax while watching the large flat screen TV. This room is great for the children! Enjoy the game room complete with 1/2 bath, ping pong table, Air Hockey, and Basketball Shot game. Go upstairs to the luxurious hot tub on the upper deck with partial ocean and mountain view or relax in the new 7th bedroom/open lounge room, with the wet bar, cozy couches (that can fold down into two twin sleepers), and full bath with shower. This home is perfect for family reunions and retreat gatherings. Centrally located to downtown, the City Park and golf course, this is a home you will want to make a family tradition every year! 6 car limit. This is a wonderful home and Mark is a terrific host. Everything about the house and process was perfect: easy and responsive communication, easy check-in, and a beautiful and incredibly well stocked home (we cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and it was amazing). The location and views are amazing, beds are great… everything was perfect! We’ll definitely be staying here again!

The house facility is just perfect for a large family gathering. We had 19 family members and plenty of room and things to do. Everything was perfect with the exception of one hitch. There was an invasion of ants on the kitchen counter. We sprayed and sanitized which seemed to solve the problem For the three days we were there.

We have rented beach homes in Martha's Vineyard,Nantucket, Cape Cod and Cannon Beach,Or. Holliday House was the most beautiful home and location of any home to date. Also the rental company respected our privacy and made us feel like the house was truly ours for the week.

We've rented this house for a previous family reunion several years ago. Out of state family wanted to rent it again for a second reunion here. It's a great place right on a nice wide uncrowded beach. Close to Cannon Beach and Astoria. Not inexpensive, but well worth it if you need a large house.

We booked this rental to accommodate a large family gathering, not fully understanding just how perfect and beautiful it was. From the moment we walked in the door, we were overjoyed and in awe. It comfortably accommodated 10 adults and 9 children with room to spare. It was fully stocked with everything from dishes, serving ware, sand toys for the kids, a play area upstairs, towels, linens etc. It was in a perfect location, quick easy walk to town and right on the beach. Could not recommend any better place to stay. Truly perfection!

This house didn’t disappoint! The design of the sprawling house must have been created with views and a gathering space in mind. The view from the living room was spectacular! We could watch the storm from inside with the cozy wood fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms with king beds and views plus so many more! The dining table is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The Sunset staff was communicative and professional every step of the way. Loved the ping pong table and game room. The owner brought over firewood before we arrived, nice touch. It would have been nice to have a little more seating in the living room and for the deck. We couldn’t figure out the thermostat, so it was cold unless we had a fire. In all fairness, we didn’t reach out to anyone regarding this.The access to the beach is the best I’ve seen! We enjoyed walking downtown as well. Great place with beds for everyone, we’ll be back!

We had an awesome stay! Everything about it was top notch...beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, tons of space, proximity to beach with a spectacular view. There were five in our party that experienced the Oregon Coast for the very first time...they were awestruck with the house, the view, Manzanita, everything about it! I mentioned to the property management services about the only problem we encountered...the large french doors to patio were very hard to unlock and lock...they are waiting on these custom doors to be replaced...like everything else during COVID...we understand and just left them unlocked without a problem. We plan to come back! It’s a fabulous place for a large group.

Our extended family gathered here together for five days, and we were so happy with the overall experience. The beds are very comfortable and the access to the beach couldn't be better. This was our first visit to the city of Manzanita, and we appreciated the two grocery stores (one within walking distance) and also the bike/walk lane that extends throughout the whole city. Some of our family members loved the Manzanita Links golf course which is minutes away. The second house with the game room was a hit with the bigger kids, and we appreciated the toys that came with the house for smaller kids to play with. Our only suggestion for the house is for some type of blinds/shades to be installed in the main living room. It is a gorgeous view of the beach, but from 4pm-sundown it is almost too bright to enjoy that room, and we found ourselves preparing and eating dinner each night wearing sunglasses inside the house. Overall, I would highly recommend this house and appreciate all that was done to make our stay comfortable.

The property is amazing, the house very clean, and it was very easy to unpack relax/get cozy. The only suggestion our group of 6 executives has is the foosball table was very worn and the air hockey table has seen its time -- we would suggest to the owners to get new/updated tables for the garage/game room -- for us, it was a great way to relax, have fun, and not talk about work, BUT we could not do it every night due to the tables just not in good shape, we only went out there one night!

A truly beautiful house in a perfect location. We couldn't have asked for a better place. The only thing I'd note is that the VRBO listing says that guests must bring their own beach toys (for kids) and beach towels, but the house came fully equipped with those too.

This house and location is amazing; there's no doubt about that. I've used VRBO in London, Paris, Venice and Rome, as well as for Florida beach houses and get-aways in Minnesota and Wisconsin. My family and I have always had a great time, but this place is special. All architectural choices seem to have been made with the majestic, peaceful, wild and uncluttered OCEAN FRONT right at its feet. The house literally seems to give homage to the ocean, starting with the two-storied great room with its wall of windows facing the glorious view. Inside, all choices seem to think of what would make it easiest/most comfortable/most fun for the family inside. From a kite to a waffle maker, soft sheets to wide open views, a dining room that comfortably seated our 18 family members, to private nooks and crannies for we introverts to nestle away with a good book, this place has it all. Thank you for a time I will literally never forget.
