Tiny rooms but you expect that for the price. Wifi awful, don't rely on it.

Nice hotel stayed one night good location friendly staff

If you want to get a room with window, you have to request before checking-in or making a reservation.

If you want a room for one night then this is just about passable. I had what was described as a ‘comfort double room’ in the basement, which had no windows. The room had a problem with humidity and thankfully the hotel had a dehumidifier which I could be used.
Location is good for Kings Cross. There was an en-suite, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Bedding was clean, as were the towels.
No issues with noise and there was an air conditioning unit for heat and cooling.
Would recommend to hotel they add into descriptions around whether or not rooms have nartural light.

Excellent stay in a lovely small double with ensuite. Clean, fresh and modern.

Clean and efficient. Lovely staff. Perfect for a one night stay.

Good location, clean room and friendly staff.
I stayed in a single en-suite on the second floor. Unfortunately, I didn't get much sleep due to the paper-thin walls and the very hot room (I turned off the radiator upon arrival). I was unable to use the shower as the thermostat wasn't working and the water was boiling. The tap on the handbasin needed to be 'fixed' to the basin. I was also woken up at 04:30 by the in-house digital clock/phone charger - the digital voice told me that I needed to charge my phone!
Complimentary bottled-water, fresh fruit, tea and coffee were provided. Young lady offered to help with my suitcase.

The staff were nice, but the room was very small, the bed wasn't comfortable at all, there was a light smell of damp and the window was well overdue a clean. Given the positive reviews that other travellers have given, I imagine that some rooms are better than others. At least, it wasn't noisy.
4.0
Simple room, but ideal for a 2 night business trip. Ideal location for easy access to Kings Cross for trains either into London or elsewhere.
2.0
The room was quite poor - bed rolled around and squeaked, there was a giant snot/boober wiped on the wardrobe, the bathroom sink kept backing up and made the bathroom room smell like sewage. I tried to contain the smell but the bathroom door wouldn’t close, and was super squeaky! The staff were LOVELY and super helpful, and you could tell the cleaners did their best to make it nice with what they were provided. The rooms just need to be updated. There were nicer hotels for cheaper. Unfortunately the room wasn’t as nice as it looked in the photos.

Was able to check in an hour early which was great. Great for staying the night in London, close to the station 👍

Cheap and cheerful. Basic. Very noisy floorboards and difficult to sleep

Contemporary newly refurbished room with a lovely modern ensuite, plenty of hot water and a strong shower pressure was really refreshing.
Lovely staff who insisted on carrying my luggage up and down to my third floor room. It was very quiet for a hotel so conveniently close to St Pancras, extremely clean and newly decorated.

Amazing price and location. Room basic but has all whi i needed. Desk with chair, modern bedside lamp with wireless charger and smart tv. Room was small but bigger than most single rooms in London and everything is well appointed. Nice hot shower and small but modern ensuite. Will definitely use again when working in London.

Room was clean and modern. Bathroom new and functional with rain shower and back light mirror. Plenty of tea coffe and even hot chocolate. They also provide bottled water in the room. Reception staff were so nice and helpful. Recommended

For £70 and it being a stones throw from KGX it was absolutely fine. However there was plenty that could be improved - my room was in the basement so no window which I don't recall being mentioned in the booking, floors and walls are very thinning meaning it was rather noisy, worst was my room (L8) had loads of tiny little flies which were annoying and made it feel dirty. Room was bigger than expected though (for a small double) and the service was friendly.

Friendly team, and outstanding value for what they offer. I'd stay again.

Lovely, helpful staff.
Room too hot. Mattress not comfortable and pillows thin.
The door to the room has gaps and conversations in the corridor of other guests sounded like they were in the room.

This is a great location within walking distance from St. Pancras and Kings Cross train stations. The hotel isn't fancy, but the room was comfortable, and my location at the back was super quiet.

I was impressed with the hotels location as it’s literally 200 yards or so from Kings Cross / St Pancras stations. The room (306) was on the third floor so if you struggle getting upstairs this isn’t the room for you. The room was clean and ample for a one night stay. The only downside was not being able to have a shower, the shower door didn’t close properly and when the shower was turned on, the water was that hot, you couldn’t stand under it and it wouldn’t cool down, this needs addressing as someone will need a skin graft if they stand under that water. I probably would stay here again but any longer than 1 night I would seek alternatives

Horrible Hotel. For some reason the dates I wanted to book for December got changed to February on Hotels.com. I realized it only when I received an email with the confirmation( just a couple minutes after booking), contacted customer service multiple times, they told me they contacted the hotel but they are refusing to change the dates or refund. I hope they had a lot more from that money than I could have had, because I was not working an basically spent my last money on that st*pid room. I will never use that hotel again. Oh and hotels.com gave me a compensation €50 voucher, which was not possible to use and wanted me to call CS again. I spent more money on this whole experience with the calls and everything that in a 5 star hotel. Terrible!!!

Great and helpful staff, bathroom wasn’t very clean and had no tissue but clean and comfortable bed perfect for a short stay

The staff were excellent. The rooms not so. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom was so tiny you couldn't sit straight on the toilet because the sink was in the way. Smoke detector hung from the ceiling by the wires as it was not fixed to the ceiling itself. Asked to move rooms as the window didn't shut properly. Even the card holder was sellotaped to tye wall. Handy for Kings Cross station.

For the price its good. The hotel is ok staff excellent. Downsides are that as it is an old building noise is an issue. The sound travels between rooms, doors are loud, and the plumbing transmits sound so if noise wakes you or stops you sleeping avoid. Rooms snall but similar to something like a hub hotel same with bathrooms if you need space aviod. This was significantly cheeper than a hub so felt for the price ok but don't expect too much

Terrible experience and the worst customer service. Do not stay here

I thought it was really expensive for what we got a very basic room on the second floor with a timy toilet/ shower not worthy of being called a bath room
More like a downstairs toilet room

The room is realy realy small. Couldn't even open my suitcase.
The toilets had a bad smell and didn't look like it was clean.
The bed and mattress deen better days

First of all let me say that the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient for those travelling through Kings Cross.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was shocking. The bedsheets had yellow and brown stains, and the cleanest part of the sheets looked like the top duvet so we slept on top of the duvet for the whole night. The window didn’t close properly and it’s winter now so the room became very cold. The window had mould and white stains growing all over it, it’s like it had never been cleaned before. The bathroom looks new and clean but the building must have old plumbing because every few minutes the water tank in the toilet would make a noise - presumably when someone else is flushing the toilet.
This was only supposed to be a quick stop over to get an early train from Kings Cross the following morning but now I wish I had paid extra for a cab from my house to the station instead so that I could have gotten a better night’s sleep - this room was totally not worth the money that I paid :/

Tiny room, paper thin walls and just a bit shabby but cheap (relatively) so you get what you pay for.

Clean and great central location but so noisy, walls are paper thin and was woke up 3 times in the night with other guests flushing the toilet, walking up and down stairs and closing doors.
