Panoramic windows offer unobstructed views in every direction—whether of the Hochgrat, Pfänder, or the Alps, or of sunsets and sunrises—in the penthouse, you’ll enjoy picturesque views at any time of day.
2. Materials: The combination of natural stone and wood creates an exciting and soothing experience for the senses. You’ll not only see the quality, but also hear, smell, and feel it.
3. Authenticity: Here, the vintage wood style isn’t merely imitated—the space has been renovated with care and attention to detail. Each beam served the same function 70 years ago as a cowshed as it does today.
4. Interior: Whether it’s the spacious kitchen-diner with a marble countertop, the 3.5-meter-long ash wood table crafted by a carpenter, beds made from reclaimed wood from the building, or the cozy sofas—you’ll appreciate this quality.

In the center of Untermooweiler, a village of 100 residents idyllically situated between Wangen im Allgäu and Lindau, a barn building over 70 years old has been converted into vacation apartments (2nd & 3rd floors). The village has two riding stables and a dairy farm—more animals than residents. The dirt roads and the immediate surroundings of fruit trees, meadows, and the Degermoos Nature Reserve are sure to delight more than just the village children.
The Trautesheim captivates guests not only with its historic location right next to the over 800-year-old St. Nicholas Chapel but also with its slightly elevated and thus exposed position, which offers a sublime feeling and sweeping views of the countryside.
You won’t get bored here, as the region has plenty to offer. Take a bike ride to the old town of Wangen or to Lake Constance, 15 km away; go hiking on the Pfänder; or take a stroll right in the adjacent nature reserve. Look forward to relaxing and eventful days in the Allgäu-Lake Constance region.
