The breakfast is served in the bar area and is really just pasty a small selection of whole fresh fruit and a small selection of meats and cheeses. However the coffee was excellent. And there are no nearby coffee shops of cafes. The closest eating places are about a 15 minute walk away.
I wish they had a fuller breakfast buffet. And this location is both a hotel and apartments. It is a little bit of a maze to find your room. And a little far from the sites, but close to public transit.

Breakfast is nice and staff really helpful. Location is close to metro station. Rooms size is also good.
Air conditioner didn't work during whole stay. Hotel needs to fix this issue since it's a common complaint. Cleaning is done once each 2 days. Price is too high in my opinion, although Rome has became really expensive everywhere.

Location and atmosphere
Considering the money it was a nice place to stay, don’t have any complaints.

Nice, spacious room
Good location, close to the Colosseum
Friendly staff
Welcoming beverage offered
Breakfast could offer more variety
Cleanliness was below our expectations (based on the reviews)
Air conditioning was not strong enough during our August stay (around 40°C outside); the room stayed around 29°C even at night
Noise from the neighboring room, including early-morning showers at 6:00 am (The noise issue may have been specific to the room we stayed in)

"Francesco made my mum and I feel so at home on our one night stay! From the second we walked in we were greeted and given the absolute best service we experienced in Rome. We were given a ground floor..."
