Just a very cute hotel with a fabulous location and people who make a difference. Rooms good size, with what one needs, good breakfast to start the day positively and helpful people who make your stay better. Lovely seating scattered around the hotel. Balconies with nice views and comfortable seating if you just want to “do nothing”.
Would genuinely not have a negative comment.

Lovely old-world charm. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, with ample selections of eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals, and delicious pastries. Multiple coffee and tea selections.
Many beautiful balconies, patios with fabulous views. We are in love with Hotel Umbra.
The only small problem was poor to fair wifi, in the "appartemente".

Location in centre of Assisi. Helpful front desk staff
Hotel is tired ( black marks (mould?) on bathroom ceilings due to inadequate ventilation), breakfast was of 2000 style - eg processed cheese slices! No in room kettles or coffee machine .
