Everything is great staff super friendly, accomodation is great especially the secret retreats, bungalow best for large family!
I must say it is pretty cold in your , hot tub area even with the enclosure some patio style heaters would be great like the bungalow has also if the hot tub at that property could fit inside as well as I could fit in the area where U first go in and swap the heater and telly over as viewing would be better for everyone and a lot warm if was completely enclosed, this isn't a negative just a suggestion

We have stayed multi times and love it!!! We always try book a secret retreat cabin it's in a great location and the cabin it's self lovely and warm. Recommend especially for family of tots junior and teens.
I was really hoping that there was some patio style heaters would have been fitted in the hot tub area as it can get pretty cold FYI the bungalow has this which I try to book for this reason. Not much to not like

The location was amazing, it was close to days out at the forests and a festival. Shops were in driving distance. The facilities were enough to keep a child occupied. We had read soo really poor reviews before arriving and were worried about our stay however it wasn't as awful as expected from what we read. There's really lovely wildlife in surrounding forests which was nice to be amongst.
Nkt quite worth what we paid due to poor cleanliness and facilities run down.
The cleanliness let the comfort down for our stay. The cabin was surface level cleaned but if we moved anything we could see it hadn't been. The bathroom I had to clean myself before we used it.
The cabin was quite run down with things broken.
The facilities were also quite run down, we didn't use the pool because it looked abandoned and refilled.
There were little safety measures in place of people making bbqs or fires considering it was in the middle of a drought so felt quite uneasy being surrounded by dried forest.
