Nestled on the pristine shores of Lac La Belle, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the ski hill. On Lac La Belle, near Lake Superior, you will be spending your days swimming, fishing, or kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, snow showing or snowmobiling.

This is the kind of house & location that one almost prefers to keep secret because it is so good. We have a family of 13 with a full-range of ages and it fit us perfectly. It was quiet, had a beautiful view, a big kitchen with plenty of tools, and on and on. The owners were communicative and helpful, making the whole process a breeze.

We were already falling in love with the area on our drive beyond Houghton. Rolling hills and curves, tree covered canopy over the roads with small breaks that made it feel as though you'd reach the top and sail into the clouds, just beautiful! The house itself was perfect for our group of 3 families with young children. Plenty of space for the kids to run around inside and out. We went adventuring during the day and spent the evenings outside back at the house. The shallow sandy bottom shore was perfect for the kids to splash around in. At the end of the dock the water was only like 2-3 feet deep, perfect for multiple jumps for the littles without stress for the parents. The place was perfect. Perfect location. Perfect size. Great views. Adults were all just as pleased as the children with our choice this year. Brockway Mountain drive is a MUST do while in the area. Amazing views at the top and a fun drive. Couldn't have been happier with our choice.

The house accommodated all 15 of us very comfortably. Nice huge spaces for all to enjoy. House was clean and kitchen was fully equipped. Sunset views of the lake are beautiful.The only con I would say was that the room with the bunkbeds in the basement does not have enough head clearance. It is very inconvenient to climb in and out from the top bunk. Also please note the mosquitoes are HUGE in this area. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions. Overall great stay and recommended.

We had such a wonderful anniversary celebration with our family at this beautiful Lake side Lodge. The weather was perfect to enjoy this lovely setting, and everyone commented on how much fun they had and yet how relaxing and peaceful it was. It combined cleanliness, plenty of comfortable beds, kitchen availability, sauna, lake and fun game room and toys for children. We could see Mount Bohemia from the dock. Many thanks to our gracious hosts, Jason and Misty, for sharing this wonderful lodge.
