Okay place but very inaccessible for people over 165cm due to being under the roof with limited headspace

Nice big bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped

The low slanted ceiling under the roof made it extremely hard to move around especially to the back sleeping area. My friend is only 170 and hit his head multiple times.

Good price and good location, but very tight spaces and unbearable in a heatwave

It's kinda hard to rate this apartment, because it has many flaws, but it's mostly honest about it, therefore one can hardly feel himself cheated after arriving. It is undeniable that the location is excellent and the price is very fair. The bathroom is surprisingly nice and the kitchenette is fairly useable. Our kids loved it, especially that they were not impacted by the oftentimes bizarrely tight/low spaces.

There are several things to consider, but one is paramount: as a non-air-conditioned attic, this apartment is quite unsuitable in heatwaves, i.e. with 30°C outside temperature and above. We were lucky that only half a day featured such weather during our stay. Beware: it really is one long bedroom, there is no separate living room as the description implies. Otherwise: it should not come as a surprise since it can be seen on the photos, but still - the fact that it's an attic has a large impact on the useability of the apartment. It's hard to actually see it as an apartment for that very reason: because of the large share of lower-than-standard-height floorspace, most of the place is only suitable for sitting or sleeping. The actual, useful floor are might be around 30 sq. meters out of the total 100. Two beds out of the four are very hard to use in their original position: there isn't enough space to even lie sideways on them - but through some floorplan rearrangements, it can be mitigated. There are also some surprising quality inconsistencies: the otherwise quite nice bathroom lacks a bin and a hair dryer as well (though it's true that the listing also doesn't promise any of those), and the fairly equipped kitchen is without a cheese grater or a beer opener. Those are small things, one can always just buy one - it was just a bit surprising. For those who prefer to sleep in dark, it might be tricky, since the roof windows lack any kind of shading - and even though they face west so they only get direct sunlight in the afternoon, it means that once the sun is up, it is pretty bright in the entire apartment. And, lastly, some of the building materials are a bit disappointing: the floor skirting elements tend to fall apart around the roof beams, and the bathroom harmonica door looks and feels like if it's only halfway finished. There is a multilingual manual to use the utilities etc.

Nice big bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped
