The staff at the hotel were excellent, I was able to check- in early. Air conditioning worked great in the room. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and good value for the price.

We had a nice stay at Posada Don Matias in Oaxaca. Good location just 5 min walk from the Zocalo, comfortable rooms with hot showers, a TV and a fan (we had the economy room). Staff was lovely at all times and helped us booked a taxi to the airport on the last day for $300mxn (we paid $510mxn from the airport on the airport taxis due to no Uber/Didi). The window faced the hallway so it didn’t give much privacy to open it, but didn’t bother us as we were mostly out during the day. It would have also been nice to have a bedside lamp. I would book again and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay.
