About this cottage rental
Waterfront Lodge 3 with Hot Tub is one of eight two bedroom lodges situated right beside the water. It is a detached lodge with two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen area and a dining area. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. This lodge has its own terrace area with outside tables and chairs. The lodge has wonderful sea views. There is Wi-fi throughout. The bedrooms are made up as one double and one twin bedroom. There is electric heating throughout.
The lodge is situated just a few metres from the Holly Tree Hotel. This has a Bar, Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Hot Tub Spa and Reception area. Users of the Lodge has FREE use of the Hotel's Swimming Pool and Hot Tub.
Pets are permitted in our property at an extra cost. Cots and high chairs are also available free of charge.

Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome -- glass panel railing so you could see out. If you sat just right, you could not see the ground between the deck and ocean and made you feel like you were on a cruise ship. Check-in instructions were a little confusing, but easy. Shortfalls: Beds were a little short for the 6 footers in the group, and VERY firm. Some areas were starting to show some age like bathroom; however, the location made up for it. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it, but that is not what we were looking for. I would definitely stay there again, really one of the favorite places we stayed on the trip.

The view is breathtaking and so earns the property 4 stars, but for the lodge itself I would probably give a 3. The bathroom was very, very small, and run down. The bathroom floor tiling was cracked and sharp to walk on without grout. The shower was functional and water was hot, which was good. Kitchen has everything you need. We booked the lodge for 2 adults and 3 kids. It had one double bed and 2 singles. we found a dusty fold up mattress in the closet that we were able to set up, but the bed itself couldn't fit anywhere. We ended up blocking a doorway to unfold it and we all had to climb over it to get to the beds. The sheets in the closet were dusty and suboptimal. I would not recommend this property for a family of 5 even though it is advertised as such. Enclosed pool was nice with small kids, there is an adjacent hot tub. Overall, it met our needs for one night.

Excellent location, the hot tub was extremely welcome, the view was unbeatable. Food at the restaurant was delicious! Lodge had all the amenities we needed.
We didn’t get any communication prior to arriving, the directions in Apple Maps took us to completely the wrong place. No email from Vrbo as I was told to expect, we took a chance and drove a little further and found the location. Use Google Maps in this area!

Too expensive for the property
Listings need to state that you must have a car to go anywhere. Washing machine/dryer does not dry at all
