Great property in central location.

Great location and lovely property

Only downside was the 70 stairs to climb to the apartment.

8 / 10

We had a very nice time and eventually got used to the stair climbing.

Interior was very nice. Staff was excellent. Breakfast vouchers were perfect.

Lovely apartment in Palermo.

Beautiful! Very clean. The roof deck is lovely! Great location

There is no hot tub, which was fine for us.

Get your facts right

The lounge on the rooftop was a nice time with a good view. The kitchen was appointed well enough to cook a full meal and we did.

This is a long review, but we felt it necessary. Note this well if you're planning to book this apartment. There are 80 steep stairs across 8 flights. A lot of adults and children might struggle with these. This is not mentioned in the description and it should be. Any person below good health or fitness should not attempt these stairs. As a rarity, there was no compendium for the apartment. There is also no iron, no tv in lounge but in bedrooms! One bedroom was locked off even though we'd booked two (admittedly the host responded to this query and rectified it), however we had to contact them on several occasions with basic questions where we should not have had to. Also there is no pool despite the description saying twice that there is. The hot tub is as pictured. The kitchen was very good and we cooked meals there, but it lacks a chopping board and we had no tea-towel. A local tour operator said "this is a bad area of town" which we discovered. Fyi, DO NOT go into the district immediately behind the apartment. The host really needs to put together a compendium guide. A large supermarceto is within 200 metres as well as a large Coop market yet they don't come up on Google. There is a Bus direct to airport stopping 200m from the front door. There is a lovely tourist area ending just near the apartment as it is on the edge of a lovely area of town. Next time we'd stay in that clean tourist area. Again, a guide on the front desk in the apartment is crucial.
