This is a truly wonderful place to stay, beautifully decorated and comfortable, with fabulous hosts! It is situated close to the old city centre and just a 5 minute easy walk from the main train station. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There is a coffee pod machine and kettle in the room.
There is a lovely lounge and dining area just for guest use. The breakfast selection was excellent, with delicious home made cakes, fruit salad, chia pudding and yoghurt as well as a selection of bread, pastries and eggs cooked a variety of ways.
Facilities include secure car parking in the forecourt, a spa room and access to a washing machine and dryer.
The hosts are the star of this property, so helpful and informative with good recommendations of local restaurants and places to visit. We would definitely stay here again!
Our room was at the front of the building which gets some noise in the early morning as the garbage truck empties the big underground bins on the street each day. If you are a light sleeper request a room at the rear of the property.

Unique property, very Edger Allen Poe, one of reasons we chose it.Has secure parking and enjoyed the breakfast
Location seemed good on the map, on arrival that changed. Streets around the hotel less than desirable for us. Felt unsafe to walk to town center( 10 mins walk). A combination of sleazy characters, and empty storefronts. We also had our windows open during the night and suffered plethora of urban sounds until
About 2 am. For context we live in a large urban city and see this environment daily but on vacation its not where we want to be.
