Rural, elegant, and relaxing—that’s how we’d describe our three luxury solid-wood chalets, which, together with a historic outbuilding, are grouped around the orchard of a historic, listed Chiemgau farmstead. In addition to carefully selected furnishings featuring design classics, rustic antiques, Swiss stone pine saunas, and works of art, we haven’t overlooked practical amenities such as a carport, an electric vehicle charging station, a bike storage room, a fitness room, a laundry room, a farm shop, and much more. Sustainability is a top priority for us—whether it’s green electricity, flowering meadows, fruit-bearing wild shrubs, our beekeeping operation, or happy poultry. You’ll want for nothing during an unforgettable vacation in the Chiemgau Mountains.
Our modern take on a mountain cabin: a freestanding, solid-wood chalet set amidst the expansive orchard meadow of a historic farmstead. The highlight is a 3.20-meter-wide bed, which parents with small children will appreciate as a family bed just as much as couples who enjoy the cabin-style atmosphere. Lovingly designed with perfect attention to detail, luxuriously furnished, and thoughtfully functional. Covered carport, lockable bike storage, electric car charging station, free Wi-Fi, barbecue area, laundry room, farm store, chickens, cats, bees, roses, herb and berry garden, apple trees, the meadow stretching all the way to the stream... simply the perfect, relaxing vacation.
The Lohei estate, featuring an orchard on a south-facing slope, stretches from Unterwössner Hauptstraße to the steep banks of the Wössner Bach, offering unobstructed views of the Hochplatte, Balsberg, Hochlerch, and Hochgern. Its location in the Achental valley between Lake Chiemsee and the Wilder Kaiser makes it an ideal starting point for hikes or bike rides through the beautiful Chiemgau Alps. Other destinations such as Rosenheim, Traunstein, or Salzburg are also within easy reach.
We—the Kerscher family, your hosts—live in the Lohei farmhouse, which has been restored in accordance with historic preservation standards, right in the middle of the vacation homes, and we’re always happy to assist our guests with advice, practical help, a friendly word, or a cup of espresso.
