Additional Important Information
Sustainability:
The garden irrigation and toilet flushing systems are powered by a rainwater cistern and a modern filtration and pumping system. The house has been modernized with, among other things, high-quality triple-pane windows and 16 cm of wood-based facade insulation to significantly reduce energy consumption. The new pellet heating system runs on locally sourced pellets. The photovoltaic system will also go into operation shortly. Excess electricity is directed to a heating element to heat the water storage tank. The entire house features a special underfloor heating system for greater sustainability. The materials used are predominantly from Austria or the local region. The tradespeople and companies involved were from the region and even from the neighborhood.
