Testaccio is a neighborhood that perfectly embodies Roman tradition, yet it is also a place where culture, history, and modernity come together. Our accommodation fits right into this setting, offering a prime location for those who want to be close to the heart of the city while still enjoying a quieter, more authentic atmosphere, characterized by a vibrant community and a rich cultural and culinary scene. You can reach the city center via bus No. 170, which stops right outside the building.

It is one of Rome’s neighborhoods home to some of the best traditional Roman restaurants (such as Da Felice, Lo Scopettaro, Agustarello, Bucatino, Perilli, da Checchino, etc.), particularly those serving traditional dishes like coda alla vaccinara and trippa alla romana. Piazza Testaccio is one of the neighborhood’s beating hearts, with a historic market that still attracts visitors today.

Another important aspect of Testaccio’s social life is the presence of numerous nightspots, bars, and clubs (the Palombi and Divinare wine bars are particularly famous), making it a gathering spot for young Romans and tourists alike. Not far from Via Lungotevere Testaccio, in fact, lies the famous Ostiense neighborhood—with which Testaccio is closely connected—which is also a hub of nightlife.

Public transportation connections are very quick and easy:

- Just a few meters from the apartment is the Marmorata-Vanvitelli stop, served by trams (lines 3 and 8), which provide convenient access to the city center and the Vatican.

- The Piramide Metro B stop, Ostiense Station, and the train to Ostia Lido are about a 15-minute walk away.

The apartment is also located in the city center, and the main cultural attractions and nightlife spots—such as the Trastevere neighborhood and the Circus Maximus—are just a few minutes’ walk away.

For those arriving by car: you can use the paid on-street parking spaces (marked with blue lines) or the station parking lot in Piazzale dei Partigiani, which is 15 minutes away.
