Excellent Family Stay

We had a wonderful stay here as a family with two small children. The apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable, and everything felt new and well maintained. The location was also very convenient, with a supermarket and places to get food and drinks right next to the apartment. We stayed for five days and really enjoyed the large terrace, which was perfect for relaxing and spending time with the children. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The apartment is family-friendly, comfortable, and exactly as described. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10 — highly recommended!

Worst host I've ever had in a booking

⭐ 1 star The apartment itself was fine — decent, but nothing particularly special. Unfortunately, the host made this one of the most stressful accommodation experiences I have ever had. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many countries, and I have never experienced this level of contact from a host, especially during a stay of only two nights. The stress started almost immediately. I had barely been in the apartment for 15 minutes after driving for 11 hours when I was already being asked for my passport. I explained that I had just arrived, was trying to settle in and wanted to get some food, and asked if I could provide it the next day. I was told no, it had to be done that day. At that point, I already felt like there was very little room to simply arrive, breathe and settle in. Then came the payment issue. I was completely willing to pay, but a few days earlier an ATM had swallowed my bank card, meaning I was temporarily unable to withdraw cash. Normally, paying cash would have been absolutely fine for me. This was simply something completely outside my control. The problem was that cash appeared to be the only acceptable payment method. No card payment, no IBAN for a bank transfer and no PayPal. I explained that I literally no longer had a physical bank card, but was still told to try getting cash from an ATM anyway. This resulted in around 1½ hours of stressful communication trying to find another way to pay, despite me doing everything I could to pay. The first night became so stressful that I was genuinely close to packing my things back into my car and booking somewhere else. Eventually, the host provided another payment solution through a friend in Belgium, and I paid. At that point, I thought the problem was finally resolved and I could simply enjoy the rest of my stay. The excessive communication continued throughout the stay. Even when I was leaving, the host asked me to leave a good review because it meant a lot to him.
