Title: A terrible experience in Lisbon. Absolutely not recommended if you have heavy luggage.
1. Extremely difficult to find: Even with the exact address, we struggled to locate the property. We asked several nearby shops and locals, but nobody could direct us to the entrance.
2. Endless stairs and no elevator: We had to carry our large, extremely heavy suitcases up three sets of steep stairs just to reach the building. Then we discovered there was no elevator and the apartment was on the third floor! Everyone in our group was overwhelmed and exhausted. I strongly advise anyone with heavy luggage, mobility difficulties, young children, or strollers NOT to book this property.
3. Unpleasant smell and poor cleanliness: The apartment had a very unpleasant odor, and the beds and overall cleanliness were disappointing. We even found insects in one of the beds, making us so uncomfortable that we slept wearing extra layers of clothing.
4. Impractical bathrooms: Although the apartment has five bedrooms, the bathroom arrangement is extremely inconvenient. What appears to be two bathrooms is essentially one space divided by a folding partition. We had to shower one person at a time, with very little privacy.
5. We left after just one night: Despite paying a substantial amount for two nights, we were so uncomfortable that we gave up our second night and moved to another hotel. It was simply not worth the money.
The only positive experience was a kind male staff member who helped us carry our heavy luggage. We were incredibly grateful and gave him a generous tip. Without his help, this experience would have been an absolute nightmare.
Unfortunately, his kindness could not make up for the property’s serious shortcomings.
I would strongly discourage anyone with heavy luggage, mobility issues, or high expectations for cleanliness and bathroom facilities from staying here.
