Location is awesome. Staff was friendly.
Beds were uncomfortable. Parking is a nightmare! Air conditioning wouldn't go below 67.

Clean. Very nice facility. Comfortable bed.
Prices were incredibly high but apparently everything is in that area.

Breakfast was very good. Hot and plentiful. Clean, well stocked and staffed. Rooms were very nice. Plenty of room. Could have used more drawer space but we managed.
We were disappointed there was no pool. Parking was expensive.

The property was an easy walk to the convention center and close to many restaurants. Breakfast was good and available early.
Housekeeping did not fully refresh room each day. Parking was valet and cost $42 per day.

Came to tour ASU Downtown Phoenix campus and catch the opening series of 2024 MLB. Hotel was walking distance to both, and was 15 minutes or less from the airport...but not at all noisy.
We had an awful water pipe knocking from our shower, which made it difficult to keep sleeping once the first person in our room was awake.
Not many grab n go options for breakfast.

Excellent stafd. Meredith on front desk allowed me to check-in early and was very professional and helpful.
Great breakfast options. Large room. Hotel very clean.
Nothing. All good.

The staff were excellent, location was great and for the price was good deal I loved being near ASU
My room was right over garage so had to get used to trucks backing up in the early mornings, but I got used to it

Breakfast was great. I liked the access to coffee all day.
Valet parking - paying for the parking and I felt pressure of giving gratuity every time I needed my car.

Location of this hotel is excellent for the Phoenix Convention Centre - it is literally a 6 minute walk. It is also a quiet hotel with little night noise. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was very basic. Coming from Europe, I was horrified at how everything is thrown away (plates, cutlery etc.) Only some of these items could be recycled. Even the coffee machine in my room had disposable trays for the coffee sachets (each time you made a cup of coffee, the tray was thrown away). Just the huge amount of plastic that is disposed of daily is unimpressive. A hotel chain like this could do so much more to reduce the amount of rubbish that goes into landfill.

Hele fijne ruime kamer. Schoon. Goede locatie in het centrum van Phoenix. Het ontbijt was redelijk.
De airco maakt af en toe erg veel lawaai.

Breakfast was good - they had omelettes, bacon one day, potatoes, waffles, fruit, cereal choices, yogurt, muffins, scones, coffee & juice choices. Night appetizers from the bar - we had a really great Veggie Pizza and a cold mug for a beer. The lady bartender was very friendly. Valets were great - Sammy, Michael, & Alexa. Monica at the front desk and a very nice lady who seems to have a lot of jobs - cleaning various things - she's very sweet and friendly.
Parking - it says it has parking but I assumed it was on site. It isn't. You have to walk to nearby street parking with no guarantee of a space. Valet parking is pricey and the place was pricey. However, valets were really great!

Modern and renovated. Good location.
Comfort and offerings in the lobby bar/restaurant were subpar. (ie. no limes, no lime juice, no soda water) Seating was very awkward and uncomfortable.
Beds were springy, sagging and uncomfortable.
Stink in our bathroom - likely from unwashed and moldy cleaning rags or mop.
Paper plates and very little fruit at breakfast buffet.
Expensive/mandatory valet service.

Complimentary breakfast was outstanding with exceptional staff support. The eating area was lovely - and a great place to work after breakfast. The staff at this Hampton Inn were truly exceptional from the valet, to the breakfast support to front desk. This hotel will become our new "go to" every time we come to Phoenix!!!

The hotel was very accommodating to our needs. One family member wanted to come a day early. They worked it out that she didn't need to change rooms although having two confirmation numbers. They also checked us in early, which was a pleasant surprise.

We liked the overall experience! The building was updated and modern with LED lighting and modern decor. Very sanitary and employees were all doing what they were supposed to be doing. Housekeeping, maintenance and custodial svcs. were in the lobby & on the floors tending to the rooms, facilities and common areas. During the continental breakfast, the servers were timely, kept the dining areas clean and the food choices in the breakfast area stocked. We were very impressed with the valet parking at the property also, who were eager and provided local/ knowledgeable advise in the downtown Phoenix area. Check-in and check-out was simple, friendly and timely. Thank you to all at The Hampton Inn/ Downtown Phoenix on Polk St. We'll come back again for another stay. Keep up the good work!
There isn't a swimming pool. Metered hourly parking or $28/day garage parking a block away was not appealing.
(But it helped that there was Valet Parking at $40 for your entire stay - which was our choice and worked out well because they put it in covered parking; they also had it set up, where I simply texted, when I wanted my car out front.)

Sheets were super soft and comfy like home / breakfast was good/ design of room and space was excellent/ location was perfect to ASU and city; walking distance to most things/MAIDS AGAIN :) we had our beds made and new fresh towels.
Staff was SUPER NICE
Valet although hard working was little bit of a mess. I left my phone in my car by accident - asked that an attendant grab it for me and give to front desk OR HOLD IT and I would come down and retrieve from them "at their convenience" I knew they were busy. They did grab it, but after an hour I finally called down and front desk had it but said Valet didn't know which guest it went to. :( I Gave valet my name, phone number and room number :( someone dropped the ball. Also, Need to do something about the little pedestal where I witnessed your valet staff bombarded by customers even grabbing at things on Valet pedestal "helping themselves." LAST THING, $41.00 per day for parking AAHHHH! No Pool :(

Breakfast was amazing and well attended.
This has nothing to do with the hotel but Lyft made me late for my backstage pass for a concert. That sucked!
