I paid for the accommodation, but tried to re-charge it. If you don't check it properly, the customer may feel uncomfortable. Parking lot also :(

Convenient location - felt more like a room rent than a hotel stay.

Convenient location close to port.

On arrival, check-in was by phone and we received phoned instructions to access our room. Other guests arrived late at night and woke us up trying to open our room door - several times! I messaged the hotel remote staff, but no-one replied so we just had to wait until the other guests selttled down and allowed us to sleep again. Probably, we were just unlucky, but definitely a negative not to have any hotel staff on site.

Excellent hôtel, très bien placé et très bien géré.

L'emplacement, parfait. L'accueil : excellent, à la fois sympathique et professionnel. A noter : il n'y a plus de clé ou de carte pour entrer dans la chambre : seulement, un code, c'est un vrai progrès. Le confort général : très bon. Le petit-déjeuner dans une salle panoramique : très bon. Rapport qualité-prix très favorable. Si nous revenons à Milazzo, ce sera dans cet hôtel !

Notre chambre n'avait pas de vue intéressante, mais les chambres qui sont sur la façade ont une très belle vue.

Great overnight option in Milazzo

Excellent location for a night before hopping on a ferry. Bathroom lighting could be more “subtle”. Overall, great value for the price. Communication throughout very good. Nice breakfast with fresh pastries.

The room was exceptionally comfortable with beautiful views over the harbour. Excellent service and location.

Fancy room

Amazing room, very modern and clean. Well equipped with good A/C, which with this heat is perfect. It is perfectly located if you want to go to Aeolian Islands since the Milazzo port is at 50 m from the hotel. Friendly staff.

There were not too many options for breakfast.

The online check-In allows access 24/7. The Hotel is located directly opposite the Ferry terminal and thus perfect for a layover. Nice lounge area on the upper floor

modern apartment right by the port

The apartment was clean and modern, with a large bathroom and balcony. We had excellent communication with the staff, and there was a nice rooftop terrace. They served a sweet breakfast every day. The location right by the port makes it a perfect spot for island hopping in the Aeolian Islands, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the beach. On the last day, we were allowed to check-out an hour later, which was very kind.

Breakfast was fine, location was great as its right next to the port, ideal when catching the ferry.

Couldn’t seem to get our fridge cold for the one night we stayed, but that was the only issue.

Staff speaks hardly English which resulted in misunderstanding. Various items at breakfast were not available.

PERFECT place to stay if you want to park your car while visiting the Aeolian Islands.

We stayed here one night, prior to a 3-night stay on the Aeolian Islands. It was a PERFECT choice. Super clean and modern room. Modern amenities and LED lighting. Towels, soaps, etc are all branded with their logo. It is much classier than the price might suggest. We were hoping for a place where we could park our rented car while we were gone to the islands. Upper-Boutique offered reasonably priced, on-site, secure, indoor parking! The garage door was coded for easy exiting when we returned. The Milazzo docks and ferry area is very crowded and hectic. Staying here was a great choice... a flat 200 yard walk to the ferry terminal, plenty of restaurants nearby. It just made everything so easy, and we knew our car and left-behind belongings would be 100% safe in the garage. The quiet rooms are in the upper floors of a 6 to 8 story building, with a nice view of the ferry terminal, harbor area and street activities below. I highly recommend.

This is NOT a hotel!

I don’t book B&Bs, because the check in can often be problematic. I booked this property because it advertises itself to be a hotel. It is most definitely not a hotel. It is just a collection of rooms that you get access to via an electronics code. You must call the staff prior to gaining access to the building.

Noisy (tiled floor above) Hot room despite air con On street parking cheaper than 20 euro/day parking offered by Upper (use EasyPark) Lift out of order - 5 floors with heavy luggage Charge for coffee capsule in room! We have never seen this before! At check out, insisted on charging us city tax for child (incorrect) When I checked this by WhatsApp with manager she came back to say this was untrue and we’d been charged for water from fridge that we hadn’t had. Then changed to say we were charged for a tea bag?! We took our own tea bags and milk (we are British!) Very odd and irritating last impression!

The location was perfect... beautiful view over the harbor. Breakfast was lovely.

The pillows were memory foam but seemed very hard and flat for us...a minor complaint.
