The apartment was lovely. The balcony was a dream, it went round 2 sides of the apartment and was perfect for sitting out in sun or shade. We ate all our meals out there. The kitchen was well equipped but we were concerned about the cleanliness. Some of the utensils and pots weren't cleaned properly and because of this I worried that the apartment hadn't been properly sanitised for covid. The owner assured me the cleaner used industrial bacterial cleaner throughout but I still had my doubts and bought my own to clean all the surfaces. The apartment would not be suitable for someone coming to Rome for the first time for a few days. It was 5 kilometres from the centre and the most convenient way to get to the centro storico was to get a bus to Piazza Cavour and walk. If you only have a few days to explore Rome this is quite time consuming.
Having said that, the owner was quite solicitous, checking by text every few days that we were all right.

We had a couple of small problems crop up and the landlord was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend them and would stay there again.
