About this apartment rental
It’s located on the fourth floor without an elevator, but you’ll be rewarded with beautiful natural light and tranquility once you step inside the apartment.
What makes it special is the balance between practicality and charm: three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area make it perfect for families, groups of friends, or longer stays. The apartment has been recently renovated and thoughtfully furnished to feel both functional and welcoming.
One of the highlights is the two private terraces, where guests can enjoy breakfast in the morning light or unwind in the evening after a day exploring Rome.
Fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a washing machine, and a dishwasher ensure a comfortable stay, whether you’re visiting for leisure or working remotely.
The apartment is well-connected to the city center by public transportation (metro and buses), allowing you to easily reach Rome’s main attractions while staying in a quieter, more authentic residential neighborhood.
My apartment is located in the Battistini area, a residential neighborhood that offers a more authentic and relaxed side of Rome, away from the crowds but very well connected to the city center.
A key advantage is its proximity to the Battistini Metro Station (Line A), which takes you quickly to some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, including the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Spanish Steps, and Termini Central Station.
The neighborhood is lively and convenient, with everything you might need within walking distance: supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, local shops, and a movie theater, making it ideal for both short and longer stays.
Food lovers will enjoy discovering several excellent local spots. Gianni’s pizza al mattone is a well-loved favorite, as is Joseph for classic Italian cuisine and Anvedi Battistini for a traditional Roman experience.
If you enjoy seafood, the nearby Oysteria Roma is a hidden gem for fresh fish and oysters—perfect for a special evening.
For outdoor enthusiasts, soccer and padel clubs are just a few steps away, or the beautiful Villa Pamphili—one of Rome’s largest parks—is just a short drive away and ideal for jogging, relaxing, or enjoying nature.
The area is also convenient for guests traveling by car, offering easier parking and less traffic compared to central districts.
Staying here means enjoying a quieter, more authentic Roman lifestyle, while remaining just minutes away from the heart of the city.
💛 LOCAL TIPS BY CRIS
To help you experience the neighborhood like a local, here are some of my favorite spots:
- Best coffee & breakfast
Start your day with a perfect Italian cappuccino and fresh pastries at Pasticceria Siciliana Svizzera—a local institution known for its cannoli and warm atmosphere.
- Bakeries & sweet treats
For artisan pastries and breakfast, try Gelateria Primavera, a favorite among locals, or the family-run Pasticceria Lai, established in 1972
- Authentic Roman cuisine
For a truly local dining experience, Da Ennio is simple, authentic, and delicious
