The cottage was exactly as expected. Well equipped, cozy and very comfortable. Thank you Randy for meeting me at the property to pass over the key, and explaining how to operate the accessories and plumbing fixtures. It was also nice to have you check in later that day to make sure all was well and to answer any other questions I had.
A staircase to traverse down the hill to access the waters edge and dock would be preferable. I would have felt safer, particularly after dark, returning to the upper level were the cottage was located if there was a more solid structural feature. However, solid shoes, a flashlight and a slow and steady pace did make the short trek acceptable.
