I liked the location and the interior design . The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff .
Your breakfast "deal". The credit we received and that it was almost as much as one breakfast cost . The breakfast was horrible - paper and plastic products ? No waitstaff - had to ask to clean the table - chairs are ridiculously uncomfortable . The food was generically awful . In a city where food is an art form you use thawed bread goods ? Really ? And unimaginative coffee . I chose this hotel because I stayed in a Marriott Autograph Collection in London and had a fabulous experience in their facility and their dining room . This gets a negative 5 .

Check in and check out was very easy. They were very nice and friendly. Great hotel!
Products in the bathroom were ok. They weren't anything special.

I got charged twice on the breakfast buffet!

Excelente localização, atenção dos funcionários e higiene.
O frigobar não foi abastecido. Água precisava ser retirada na recepção.

Breakfast was excellent. Love the jazz music playing in the lobby and elevators.
The room was too small, with no chest of drawers for clothes.

The staff was excellent from the car valet to the front desk. The property was extremely clean and wonderfully decorated. The hotel bar was accessible and very inviting. The location is perfect for excellent restaurants and close to Bryant park and broadway. Perfect spot!
Couple issues that are not a problem unless you are an NFL linebacker like myself. The bathrooms are beautifully designed, but, very tight if you are above 6’ and 250lbs. Shower is inviting, but a little undersized. Obviously the hotel architecture is dated and wonderful so I understand the limitations of space, so I take that into account. The other issue is that the beds are not plush by any means. They could use an upgrade to their mattresses. I’m not a picky person but if you going to spend 4-500 dollars a night I do expect comfortable beds. I would give the property an 8 out of 10 even with the small issues that I had.

2nd visit back to this hotel because of its location. Nice rooms and helpful staff.

The staff and location were nice
Not worth the price. The upgrade from a junior suite to a one room suite was not worth it. I believe it was due to not having enough rooms. We also had to wait till 7 for the room to be ready. There was an unflushed toilet when we arrived in the room. And the soaps and shampoos were used. The only thing truly high end was the staff (who were extremely sweet) and the prices. If you are looking to treat someone for an occasion or stay in a nice place, there are many others to choose from.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff was wonderfully attentive and thoughtful, the rooms were clean and efficient, and the bed was so comfortable (I spelt great)! Great location, too! Very comfortable, great shower, especially coming in after a late fun night. Very relaxing and private.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating with all the different things we needed. My daughter was moving into her college dorm down the street and we had lots to coordinate. The hotel was super helpful in holding all her luggage and boxes as well as keeping me in my same room for an extra night. Our room was always clean to come back to after a busy day.

Great hotel for New York. Bed was very comfortable. Location is good, easy to walk everywhere but away from the main noisy area like Times Square and 5th Avenue.
Polite and nice staff at Reception and Bar.
The breakfast (included in our overall price) was less than average. No coffee options outside plain coffee, only juice available was orange juice.
While the tables work for the evening in the bar, very tiny for having breakfast as a family
Pastries were tiny and not really tasty. Not worst upgrading when there are lots of other options around.

the Lobby is pretty. that’s about it.
The Front Desk staff were less than helpful-we checked in, room wasn’t ready, we were told we can leave our bags at the bell desk. the bell services staff charged us $3 a bag to hold them, but didn’t seem to charge anyone else but us…?
When we asked the FD later about this, we got different opinions (no, they shouldn’t have charged you because your room wasn’t ready, and then when we escalated it we got a “oh yes this is our policy” from the FD manager). They were also handing bottles of water out to people who checked in, yet we were charged for bottles when we asked.
The room: dirty, dingy, small, barely functional (remote control for TV was broken, USBs didn’t work, toilet paper holder falling off, the tub was in horrendous condition and looked like it was 50 years old).
the bed: both my husband and I are average sized humans, less than 6’ tall and our feet were dangling off the bed. one of the worst nights sleep we’ve ever had. couldn’t leave fast enough.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was excellent
The room was a bit “under the weather”. The air conditioning system was set to 75 and when we put it on it was so loud. The shower was very stained from the water.

The property was extremely clean. All of the Staff was phenomenal !! It’s a great location ! I can’t explain how pleased we were with this place !!
You know that we’re always looking for a better price !

The door man and front desk staff were fantastic. The room was great. I like led everything about it.
Not a big deal but my friend brought me coffee and left it outside my door. By the time I got to it it had been removed. Lids on the coffee cups and heat sleeve’s would be appreciated.

Hotel is in a good East Side location, Nice lobby and very courteous staff. Easy to get a taxi/Uber.
Breakfast buffet was very disappointing. Limited selection. Would have preferred to have been able to order breakfast. Buffet was akin to that offered at budget motels. We went out to eat to get a decent meal. This buffet was far below what I expected from a Marriott property.
In-room clock radio was good for phone charging if you have an iPhone. Not Adroid friendly at all.

It takes long time to check in an out.
There is no check in machine. Not enough staff to take care. Very long queue and never moving queue.

It was okay. Our room was very small and the bathroom was microscopic. (Room 2612)
For the price of the rooms, I would think that having a person there to make omelets for guests at breakfast is warranted.
