Top Lage in der Nähe zur Liberty Bell und dem historischen District. Gute Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Tiefgarage nebenan.

The location was great but the hotel itself was very dated and average at best.

The Location

The decor was dated The parking was limited due to high number of rented parking spaces. The hallways were dark and dimly lit. The ceilings had popcorn texture. The amenities were very dated and the carpet was very old/worn.

Stay was as expected but there were some issues

The hotel is conveniently located in the old town district so lots of historic sites are at walking distance. Hotel facilities are as one would expect. I didn't go to the restaurant so I can't tell anything about that.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days (had two consecutive bookings). My room didn't get cleaned until the 8th day of my stay. Had requested room to be clean since day 4 but nothing happened until day 8. Front desk told me that had multiple complaints about rooms not being cleaned (they told me rooms should be cleaned daily). Not sure what the reason was, but it was a dissatisfier for me. Other issue, a couple of weeks before my stay I had asked the hotel a question via this site, but I never got a response.

Staff was great, location was perfect, overall stay was very good, my partner and I had an amazing time and the value of the place was 100/10.

We had reservations for a deluxe king room and at arrival were told that they were not available and gave us an accessibility room, we were ok with the change but in the shower, the water going everywhere was very uncomfortable and slippery and nothing was really sturdy in the bathroom overall.

La ubicación está muy bien y tiene parking privado justo al lado (les entregas el ticket en recepción para canjearlo), tiene servicios dentro del hotel como ina pequeña tienda y restaurante. Está situado muy bien pues puedes acceder rápido en coche. El personal muy amable.

El precio quizá un poco elevado para una noche aunquea ubicación hace que valga la pena. La bañera no me gustó mucho, es preferible un plato de ducha.

Horrible experience

Nothing

The front desk clerk was rude and when I told her I did not appreciate her rolling her eyes at me she refused to check me In. It was 11pm I was hours from home with my children.

For the location, if you can get a good price, it’s worth it.

The location is great! Right near where I need to be. This time the room was a lot smaller than last. View was unexceptional. Good housekeeping service. I tipped the housekeeper well.

The restaurant was a big disappointment. I generally eat elsewhere. Breakfast was overpriced and not as described. It was also understaffed.

Cómo no enamorarse de la estancia en Philadelphia

Excelente ubicación, todo se encuentra a una corta distancia caminando o uber, se puede fácilmente visitar los lugares históricos de la ciudad, el distrito de la moda, los museos. También cerca de una infinidad de buenos restaurantes.

Came for the history, enjoyed the history!

It’s located in the historic district, made it really easy to see everything in a timely manner and actually get to enjoy and embrace the history of this great nation!

Dirty towels left between the shared room doors. Shows that cleaning staff doesn’t check everything while cleaning.

- Location: in the historic District, 5min walk to Liberty Bell - it has a pool on the roof! I did not know that. - friendly, colorful, staff

Tinha rato no nosso quarto. Os funcionários do hotel chamaram a polícia para multar nosso carro estacionando na frente do hotel. Durante a madrugada levamos duas multas por estar estacionado na frente do hotel sendo que não estava atrapalhando nada e não nos avisaram que não poderia estacionar. Poderiam ligar no quarto e avisar sabendo que era de hóspedes e tiraríamos o carro. Não fizeram isso então por esse motivo eu não recomendo o hotel.

Just okay

The check in receptionist was very kind.

The shower drain didn’t work well which made for a slippery situation neither did the sink drain, there was damage to the walls by the bed looked like due to the lamp? The beds were too soft. This isn’t hotel fault but could really hear ur neighbor.

Great in the Historic District

The hotel is next to the Historic District of Philadelphia, perfect to reach by subway (5 minutes away), bus or car. You can walk from here to the Rocky statue and enjoy the city in a nice walk. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are quite good and clean. The overall experience has been good. Great restaurants nearby with a lot of choices, way better than the new/financial city centre. The historical area is really nice. There is a restaurant but we didn't try it nor breakfast.

Overall nothing. In Philadelphia there can be quite a few homeless people during the day or the night, but not too close to the hotel. We had no issue with safety concerns.

Great central location, lacking in amenities

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, & clean. The walls are soundproof because we never heard a thing and slept great :)

The price was outrageous. The amenities were lacking for such a high price. Although the location was perfect.

Philadelphia is a lovely place to visit. If we go back,, we will definitely stay at another hotel.

Christopher, the concierge was wonderful! Very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean.

Restaurant was less than satisfactory. Bathroom had no ventilation fan. Took forever to get hot water. Water was never really 'hot'. Room had very poor acoustics. Front desk staff was professional.

Ideal location for the historic area

It’s a modern hotel. Not much to look at from the outside, but pleasant inside. Our room was a good size and well equipped. No noise from the neighbours, which was good. Location was ideal next to Independence Hall and the Mint. I guess that’s why it was overpriced - and breakfast was extra.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are okay.

The staff was excellent. One employee brought ice to our room since the ice machine on our floor was broken.

The bathroom had peeling in the tub. The bath towels were not soft. No free coffee in the lobby was a disappointment.

Disappointing

the lack of assistance I was offered during my stay. During my stay house keeping never came to clean my room. I personally went to the front desk on 7/21 to ask and they had told us due to COVID policies we have to call room service ourselves to request someone to clean our room before 11:00am which should have been communicated to us at check in. Nonetheless, after telling us this, the person at the front desk said that since we had let them know, they would arrange for housekeeping to come to clean our room. However, they never came. I am very dissatisfied with this service as I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and no one ever came to clean our room or to even check if we needed any assistance. Overall, my stay was not the best as there were issues with lack of communication as we should have been informed of certain things at check in. I hope that necessary measures could be taken to fix these issues and my disappointment with my stay at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District.

Disappointed in the experience at this Wyndham.

Bed was comfortable..

Room cards had red sticky liquid on them. Shower went from cold to burning hot. Air conditioner was not working and needed a repair man to enter room and fix it. Staff was less than friendly. Room was not ready at 4:10pm Food selection at restaurant was minimal for dinner. no real entrees. Just sandwiches.

The front desk staff and the location

The hotel alarm went off 4 different times over an hour and a half after 11pm there was an issue with it… was told at 9:04 sorry no food anymore from Bartender after stood at the bar for 3-4 mins to get acknowledged… she was too busy chatting with her friends at the bar. After getting door dash went down 45 mins later. A couple just finished their food. 😡. Got free parking. 🙄.

Dirty and over priced

We found a mouse in a our room and droppings under our “clean” pillows. The front desk sent us to another room that also had mice. When asked about a refund they said they’re was nothing they could do.
