Room was big
The front desk staff was rude and not accommodating. We asked twice to clean our room, and no one came. Half the light switches didn't work. Overall, the lobby photographs well, but in reality the hotel is a bit more down market than it looks like.

The location is perfect. Staff super friendly and ready to help. We stayed 4 nights and it was a great experience.
In our room the coffee maker sometimes worked and sometimes not. The bathtub was clogged but the staff fixed it right away.
The place is a good option, just needs maintenance.

location
First houskeeping service after 4 days, it was dirty and staff was unfriendly, plugs were falling out, not enough toilet paper and towels, cables were hanging out, dark room and no ventilation in the bathroom

The location of this hotel is the perfect distance to make walking to the Riverwalk or French Quarter easy. The room was wonderful. The breakfast was good.

Atmosphere, location, cleanliness, authenticity, temperature of public areas.
Breakfast (included) was below expectations.

Brilliant location, gorgeous and very spacious rooms, decent buffet breakfast and the staff were amazing!
The only downside for us was the lack of housekeeping. Not an issue for a short stay but we were there a week and had to pester reception for things like soap, toilet paper etc. Even a visit every 3 days to top up would be useful.

Very spacious and comfortable room. And breakfast included
Services were basically non existent. No Wi-Fi, no room cleaning (UNHEARD), not even landing an umbrella during the rain season. The AC was crazy cold. The stuff not friendly. And the phone in the room did not work.

Loved the shuffle board

The rooms are great! Well decorated and large. You can’t beat the price. The lobby is also nice looking.
The hallways are dirty and oddly very cold. The elevator is also dirty. Our shower had no hot water.

reception ladies were not nice. they could not text me to tell me if room was ready or not like any other hotel. they had no clue when a room is done being cleaned or not and no willingness to help. only male at reception was pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast could have had a few more options for the 200-a-night prices. I would have liked muffins or pastries, we are in he city if the best-baked goods in the south after all.

Walking into the hotel, I was impressed by the quality of the decor (including nods to New Orleans) and cleanliness of the lobby. Our room was on the corner on the top floor, leading to stunning views in two directions that was wonderful to wake up to. The bathroom was large and the shower had good water pressure and heat. The complimentary breakfast had hot food and cold food options, along with three coffee options (medium, medium decaf, and chicory coffee) and juice and tea. The common space downstairs had nice furniture and good Wifi too.
The couch in the living room area was noticeably dirty, with its whitish fabric covered in stains. The appliances in the room (microwave, mini fridge, and tvs) were on the older side - still functional but could be updated. The fridge did not get that cold. The lobby bar was closed for all of our stay and we don't know why - but there is supposed to be happy hour there.

We enjoyed the extra space in the room and the cleanliness of our room upon our arrival. The staff was friendly throughout our stay. We thought the record player was a nice touch and the records themselves played well.
A few of the amenities were not available (robes, oversized towels). The location is not the best for the price. It is a mile away from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. During our 3-day stay, we walked 25 miles. However, it is very close to the Canal St train, so it is easy to commute to City Park!
