Beautiful mansion, very centrally located.
Price seems very high for the standard provided. Probably reflects the very touristic area.

Great location five minutes walk from the centre of Amboise. Vey quiet, and good secure car parking. A beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast and our room was stunning. The staff could not have been more charming and helpful. Our only disappointment was we wanted to stay an extra day and couldn't because they were fully booked, but that was no ones fault. I would stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends/family.

Location is amazing, right in the centre of Amboise. Parking available on-site. Spacious room and big bathroom. Helpful staff. A truly charming French property with character.
Can’t really complain as all the above positives are true. On first sight, the room appeared a bit tired with dated furniture and wall coverings - it would be 5 star with those features updated. The bathroom was lovely with an amazing view of Amboise chateau. The main bedroom was a bit darker with a small window.
Also, our room was on the top floor which meant climbing up fairly steep stairs. We managed fine but it could be an issue for some guests so worth advising when booking if mobility is an issue.
Parking access is a bit narrow but we managed fine with a Volvo XC60 size car and great to have the onsite option in such a central location.

Beautiful setting in the botanical gardens. Room was lovely and breakfast was delicious
It was a bit remote so you need to plan to go to Fougères for dinner/restaurants. Luckily it’s a quick drive and the town is beautiful with an incredible medieval castle that is well worth seeing.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The room was awesome and location of hotel was perfect for visiting Chateaus and wineries.

Quiet hotel in a central location within walking distance of the Chateau, comfortable and clean rooms and a decent breakfast. Good local restaurants.
Like most hotels of this period the room could use a little repaint here and there.

Great location with easy walking to the touristic areas of Amboise. The room was very large with lovely natural light. Quiet at night.
The driveway is extremely narrow. It’s not easy to pull into the street, requires a multiple point turn.

Location was excellent. Very peaceful surroundings in morning and night even though in the middle of town.
Our room only had a bath tub with a hand held shower. No stand up shower. Made it difficult to take showers each day.

A bijou hotel, right in the centre. Very attentive greeting and parking a big plus, a bit tight but really a benefit in Amboise.
