loved meeting the owner and having a cup of tea with him.

The owner was a real gem, it was great to speak with him and enjoy a cup of tea. He went out of this way too accommodate my late check in when I missed my flight! thank you :)

The host is very kind. We had the privilege to get the twin room with the balcony with the view to the rear gardens. It was surprising to discover how large these canal houses really are!! The hotel is located at walking distance from the metro, the museums and other attractions.

I recommend this economy hotel for price, cleanliness/tidiness and location.

The hotel location was convenient to public transport and Amsterdam sights and at a modest price. Our room, with a large double bed and one single bed, was extremely spacious compared to average European standards. The toilet and shower were separate from each other and located in our private entry hall outside of our sleeping room. There was a large sink with vanity in our room which was a bonus. The facilities were clean. We had three large double windows facing a beautiful canal. Wifi worked perfectly in the room as did the cable tv for news watching. A cold breakfast buffet and non-alcoholic beverages are available round the clock on a self serve basis. The property felt more homey than hotel and could be deemed old fashioned by some, but that’s part of the charm. The proprietor took pride in his family run business.

A couple of the pillows needed replacement as the material inside was separated. I don’t care for floor covering overall.

We love it!

The location is just perfect! Really close to all activities in the city center!

The breakfast. It’s available 24/7 but these are only dry snacks, for us it is preferable to have breakfast once in the morning, but hot (scrambled eggs, cheesecakes and all that). But still was good to have it every time

Great B&B in the city centre

Excellent location in the city centre. Lovely big room, with en suite facilities. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Very welcoming, I would recommend to stay here!

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property. The stairs to get to the room are very steep, that might be an issue for some people.

It has unlimited breakfast food available 24 hours.

We were at the very top floor and it wasnt easy going uo and down with a medium size luggage. There was no lift. But the hotel it self is good and accesible to city transport. Its clean and in a very quite neighborhood.

Lovely place to stay! Full of hospitality!

Old building but super clean. Staff is very kind. Free drinks , breads , fruits, yogurt etc. Easy access to center.

No lift and steep stairs. So next time i will go with backpack instead of suitcase. Even with small suitcase, going up and down was a little bit difficult for me.

Lovely budget-friendly hotel. Near enough to the city center to walk just about anywhere and on a nice quiet street. The host was super friendly and helpful. My room on the top floor was cosy!

Nice, cozy and easy to find hotel.

I really love the hotel itself, the quality of the food available, the bed, and the location! The host is very gentle and trustful!

The size of the stairs was a little bit scary but we managed to get used to it.

Exceptional

Friendly& helpful host, tidy and clean room, good location, flexible check out time and glad that I can leave the luggage in stored room after I check out (^o^)

Nothing for improvement but you should not shopping too much because it will make you hard to carry your baggage over the stair 555 .It quiet narrow and deep like an ancient Dutch stairs pattern but it ok if you have someone carry it for you 55

The hotel is run, in the same way, I would run my own house.

The hotel had a snack bar open 24hs with a great selection of juices and cookies. My room had everything I wanted and more. For example a universal electrical adaptor. The location was pretty central and loads of hotels around that area. The hotel is run, in the same way, I would run my own house. Overall a great example of why the Dutch had managed to do so well in this world. I wish them the best of luck and more business success.

I love this place! Hotel is perfect for me!

I love this place! Hotel has his lovely style. Green colour interior and beautiful colofull pictures. Administration on the reception always helps you with all things. Taysty food 24/7, especially sweets. Location is perfect! I will recommend it for my friends, and also come back next time! Thank you so much, I injoied my journey.

A comfortable Amsterdam vacation

Hotel is located really close to the center and the breakfast was excellent. Owner is also really friendly and all in all it was a great stay. Would recommend it to all travelers.

I liked everything. But if I were to nitpick: the only thing that I maybe didn't find all that great were the steep stairs.
