We are a family of 31 and this is a great property in a beautiful Michigan setting and very convenient location. Patrick was a helpful host and came when called for an issue with the smoke alarms. The pool is absolutely the best asset of this home. It is large, has a great diving board and a wonderful shallow end. We spent many hours in the pool. The pond was covered in algae and basically not fishable. The volleyball court was surrounded by poison ivy and had not been tended to. We bought the equipment to take care of the sand, poison ivy, and then enjoyed many great volleyball games. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and tables. We all loved the screened in porch. The main Great room was OK, not particularly comfortable. There were plenty of dishes, but the pots and pans were woeful, only 20 forks and we had to buy our own cake pans. We did appreciate that the house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and random soaps that aren't usually included in a rental. That was great! Unfortunately, the advertised walking trails are not really all that walkable. They've not been maintained well. There are some usable bicycles that were fun for the little kids. The adults enjoyed walking on the long driveway and up the highway. All garbage had to be taken down to the dumpster and so we were thankful we had a pick up truck that could regularly take the garbage. It really needed to be picked up more than once a week if this house is actually accommodating over 30 people

This was such a great trip for our extended family. We have 20 people ranging from 78 year old Grandpa to a 2 year old. This property was perfect. There are two bedrooms on the first level, which were great for the grandparents, plus a giant bunk room in the basement for all of the crazy cousins. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool, biking on the driveway, and trying their hand at fishing. Luckily for me, they weren't successful fishing. Communication with the host was to notch. We had a few issues that were easily fixed - we blew a fuse in the the kitchen and couldn't find the breaker and one of the grills wouldn't light. The host was quick to tell me when the breaker box was hiding and for the grill came out same day to replace it! It was a great trip, everyone loved the property and all it had to offer. The fully stocked kitchen was great. I've been to many VRBOs that hardly have any pots and pans. This house has two ovens and two dishwasher, which made keeping everyone fed easy. All the cousins are asking when they can go back again!

The house was idea for my family and the host was very accommodating. The pool was perfect for our grandkids and the location to Lake Michigan was perfect. One of our favorite feature of the house was the very large screened in porch with ceiling fan. A great place for large group discussions anytime of the day. We would rent again in the future.
