The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have blackout curtains. It’s an excellent location but also quiet. It is very reasonably priced. In short, it was an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

The property was spotlessly, clean, pleasantly furnished, and everything you need is provided. It is very conveniently located for the center of Stornoway and parking is available very nearby in a free lot. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The property indicates in its listing that it has a dryer, but in fact, only a washing machine is available. So be prepared to dry your clothes on the drying rack provided or on the radiators. Because of its location in the center of town, there is some noise from the nearby pub on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The music was quite loud at times, but it did stop by around 11 PM. It would be a good idea if some kind of mesh could be applied to the fencing between the adjacent property, as a lot of trash blows through the fence into the alleyway where you access the apartments. It is not very pleasant to come back to trash all down the pathway.

Beautiful, super clean, spacious and cosy apartment in a great location. Very comfortable beds, pillows etc. Nice view. There is everything you would need (in the kitchen, bathroom or laundry). We found milk, bread and biscuits for us - really nice. Car parking is just 2 min of walk which you can see through the window, as ferry as well.

After our ferry was canceled due to the weather and we were unable to get booked on the next day's ferry we contacted our host ,Allan ,who kindly agreed to reschedule our booking to April of next year...this was greatly appreciated.

Great location - fantastic flat and all round great base to see all of Lewis and Harris

Very spacious, clean, well appointed, and beautifully furnished apartment in an excellent location. Parking was extremely easy and just a stones throw from the apartment and ferry terminal. We loved being able to wander down from the apartment and find ourselves in the heart of beautiful Stornaway. Even so, it was very quiet and private at the same time. We wished we had booked for longer but had to move to our next destination. Next time we plan to stay again but for longer. The isle of Lewis is definitely a special place and the Lido flats are the perfect base to explore. See you again one day!

New fitout was very comfortable. Wonderful to have bread and milk and other kitchen supplies on arrival.

Can be noisy at night if they are having fun in the street.

Modern and comfortable apartment. Good kitchen with modern appliances. Nice big bathroom with shower. Very good situation for the town and about midway position on the island.

A bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights when pubs coming out but didn’t go on beyond midnight.

it looks better than the picture. It was super clean. All the appliances were working. The kitchen was very convenient to use. Everything that we needed was there. The owners even had milk, bread and biscuits for us when we arrived! And, the Wi-Fi is working very well. Finally, it is under 1 mn walk from the Ferry terminal, with free parking which was super easy.

The only minor inconvenience was that it’s located opposite one of the town’s popular pubs and the customers outside were very noisy late into the night. We were there on Jubilee’s weekend. It only seems to be an issue with the main bedroom though as my teenage son in the second bedroom hardly heard anything!
