About this apartment rental
Our apartement is perfect for lovers of art and spaces rich in history, La Vetreria is a unique hideaway full of contemporary and antique elegance. Set in an old glassworks studio, this loft-style space has been beautifully restored with an eclectic mix of artworks, contemporary design, and antiques set against stunning original stonework and archways. Away from busy tourist spots, you can enjoy an authentic slice of Roman life whilst being an easy walk from Trevi Fountain or Piazza di Spagna and Termini Station as well as some great local restaurants or the much-loved 'Gelateria La Romana' up the road.
This apartment was created with the utmost care, style and attention, following the principles of environmental sustainability (energy class is E) and respecting the original features and character of this historic building, to share with special people.
The apartment is located within a courtyard and is therefore safe and quiet and will allow you to enjoy your stay in comfort and tranquility. If you have children, they can play in the courtyard without causing disturbance to other residents.
Our two-level apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en-suite, and a sofa bed in the living room. It can accommodate five people comfortably.
The second bedroom is on the upper level and is connected by a staircase from the living room.
The luxuriousness of the apartment is achieved by clever use of materials, wooden floors all over, sustainable construction solutions and the presence of air conditioning, heating and de-scaling water supply.
The facilities in the apartment are all made and certified in accordance with the highest regulations in force.
The windows are equipped with shatterproof glass.
La vetreria comes with a full set of natural cotton and linen sheets and towels proportionate to the number of guests. Finally, the house has free WiFi internet access, LCD TV 50" and HI-FI connected with GoogleChromecast, dishwasher, washing and dryer.
We've recently added a facilty that most of our guests asked for.

This apartment was lovely! The air conditioning was awesome, a lot of other places we went to had the electric shut off when the key isn’t in place, however, their system allowed us to keep is a cool/warm as we prefer. My husband & daughter were very happy for this. The apartment was stunning! Surprisingly there was a dryer above the washer, but we put our clothes in for a long time and they would still come out wet. I understood and just hung out stuff to dry. Which worked well for us. I loved that we had a large door from the street that opened into a lovely shared courtyard. There were a few things that could use fixing (small things) but they were small to us that we didn’t feel the need to say anything about. Because realistically it was a fantastic place! Thanks for sharing it with us!!

The host is amazing and super responsive! She did an amazing job helping with all questions and a prompt time. The air conditioning was amazing and worked very well! Location was perfect to explore Rome but get out of the noise and feel more like a local when at the property! The space was great and really enjoyed the layout! I would recommend to anyone that wants to experience Rome like a local!

This is a beautiful apartment located about 6 blocks north of the Termini (rail station), near embassies and government buildings, an easy and safe walk from the language school we attended. As other have noted, the neighborhood has many restaurants, grocery stores, etc., nearby, including an exceptional wine store (Tremani) two blocks away. Cabs to places near Piazza Navona and the Pantheon cost 10-15 Euros; we used the Free Now app to get taxis. The beautifully-decorated apartment is well-designed by the architect owner (Sergio) to take advantage of the space, with two bathrooms -- one ensuite downstairs with a beautiful tiled step-down shower, the other off the hallway for general use (and use by those sleeping in the loft). The loft bedroom is accessed by steps and has clever shades that can be lowered to cover glass partitions and provide privacy for sleepers. I could stand without slouching (I am 5' 3") though my head almost hit the ceiling. The entire apartment is well-lit and the living areas take good advantage of natural lighting. Because I am a serious hobbyist cook, I always look at kitchen equipment in rentals. The kitchen is well-equipped for making breakfast and simple meals but renters who plan on cooking in more elaborate ways should check with Antonella (one of the two owners) to see if it has dishes, utensils, etc., needed to meet their cooking needs. Overall this beautiful apartment more than met our expectations. It was also very private and quiet. We would definitely rent it again.
