staff was very friendly, the location was great.
The bed was hard and the linens weren't great, but IF you prefer a hard mattress then it might be perfect for you it just wasn't very comfortable for me. The lighting was dim with oddly placed switches and the pool that was in the room was cloudy and cold so basically not useable. Honestly didn't detract from the stay, but pointless to have a feature you can't use.

The location was good and the hotel interesting.
The whole place was somewhat quirky which is ok but worth mentioning. However my bedroom was very small , the bathroom pretty difficult to get in and out of due to a deep staircase leading from the bedroom. I also thought for the standard of the hotel the breakfasts were poor with very limited choice. Whilst there was cheese and meat the remainder appeared to be a variety of cakes. There was little fruit and no variety of cereals.
