Nine of us spent a long weekend on the island over 4th of July. There was plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the outdoor table on the balcony. The pool was nice but we didn’t swim in the lake as it smelled a little fishy. The condo location was great. We liked being close to all the action downtown but far enough to have some quiet time. We used the grills on site which worked great. I would recommend packing foil and spray oil. We rented golf carts which is a must. It was easy to book through the rental company. The only downside was that we arrived to the island early and had to kill time downtown until everything was ready. We ended up taking the bus downtown for $3.50/person and had lunch. It worked out great, but we didn’t realize the ferry was on the opposite side of the island from downtown. Bring cash for the bus ride. The condo complex was well maintained with lovely flowers. We would recommend this property to anyone with a large group staying on the island. The owners were responsive and friendly!

Overall our stay here was nice. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the condo was nicely equipped. There was a mix up w our golf cart upon checking in which made us 30 mins late to our dinner reservation. The condo seems dated and i don’t think the cleaning team did a very good job. The walls/light switches/door handles and doors are filthy. Our bathroom didn’t seem clean as there was what appeared to be smeared chocolate on bathroom floor in a wrapper when we first moved in. The floors in the condo are extremely filthy. My feet were black after just walking around barefoot for a short while. All in all i enjoyed my stay but i think you need a new cleaning service.
