Situated in Gatlinburg, this lovely house for £255 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. LARGE DECK & FIREPLACE - 4 BEDROOMS - 3 BATHS - SLEEPS 12 + A home where family memories are made and friends share good times. A warm inviting "home away from home." Spacious and fully equipped making your stay comfortable and welcoming. A great advantage is the proximity to downtown making it easy to walk to the CONVENTION CENTER, the VILLAGE, the AQUARIUM, the many DOWNTOWN stores and of course the PANCAKE PANTRY! Literally a 3 minute stroll to MAIN STREET. Conveniently located two blocks from the main Parkway in beautiful Downtown Gatlinburg. Our house is close to all of the local shops, attractions, restaurants & scenes of Downtown Gatlinburg. This house offers a safe retreat just off the main strip in a peaceful and nice neighborhood, tucked up into the mountains. This home has been in our family for generations, so get ready for a fun throwback visit to the 70's with a few retro furnishings and décor (we are updating as we go). Not to worry with "old stuff" as the important things are brand new- mattresses, living room furniture & linens. We even replaced the shag carpet (we were sad to see it go) with hardwood floors throughout. Enjoy all the fun of Gatlinburg while hanging out on the deck with the lights, sounds & views of Downtown! This home features 4 bedrooms and can sleep 12 adults in beds, plus additional couches & loungers that can sleep more if needed. MASTER Bedroom (located upstairs): King bed, plus lounger BLUE Bedroom (located upstairs): Queen bed DOUBLE / BUNK Bedroom (located upstairs): Queen bed, plus bunk bed w 2 twins CAVE Bedroom (located downstairs): 2 Double beds PLUS - Couch & Love Seat in Living Room The Living Room features a big screen smart TV on brick fireplace with cable & the sports package. Great place to watch your favorite games then head out for dinner! Beautiful fireplace with gas logs. Plenty of seating with large couch, love seat, chairs and a game table for family fun. The Kitchen is FULLY EQUIPPED - stove, refrigerator, microwave, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, coffee maker (Drip) plus much more. A Charcoal grill off the kitchen down the sidewalk. See pictures. 3 BATHROOMS MASTER Bathroom is a private full bath in master bedroom with a Shower UPSTAIRS HALL Bathroom features a spacious full bathroom with entrances from hallway and/or the Blue Bedroom. It has a Tub & Shower combo DOWNSTAIRS Bathroom features a small full bathroom with a shower. This is an old metal shower surround. FRESH LINENS, TOWELS, and A WELCOME PACKET (starter kit with soaps, detergent, paper towels/toilet paper) - ALL INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY. Bring more if you are staying more than 1-2 days! *Parking- there is 1-2 spots in the pull in garage and 1-2 spots (depending on size of vehicle) located at the bottom of the steep driveway in the gravel area. There is strict towing enforced by the other property owners all around our house, so please be sure to plan accordingly. Please, please note… the driveway is steep. Our large family has been coming here dor decades and have parked in the garage; however, it is very tricky… You have to pull in at an angle in order to avoid draghing the bottom of the car. *Please be aware that there is a PRIVATE apartment unit located inside the home on the bottom level. It is a complete separate space with no access from either house or unit to the other side. The long term tenant works on the strip in Downtown Gatlinburg and has been an excellent tenant. They have passed criminal background checks and works A LOT so typically only there in the evenings. PLEASE KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM AS BEST AS POSSIBLE FROM 10PM - 8AM Contact me if you have further questions! SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING Upon arrival, there is only a starter kit for soaps, dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. If staying more than 1-2 days, we suggest bringing the following: Toilet paper Paper towels Coffee (there is both a drip & Keurig, may be stored in kitchen cabinets) Laundry detergent Games/movies There are standard cooking pots/pans/baking sheets. If you need specialty cookware, please bring your own- crock pot, casserole dishes, etc.

A group of 10 ladies stayed for the weekend for a christian conference at the convention center. It was perfect for us. We were able to walk to the conference for every session. The house was just right for us. Plenty of room. Will stay there again if available.

Positives: 5 minute walk from the main strip, plenty of space for a large family or a couple of families
Negatives: Parking issues*, bathroom grout in two bathrooms needs a good bleaching and scrubbing, back two burners of the stove do not work, you share the laundry in the garage with the tenants so you will find their laundry in the washer/dryer at times
*Note: The gravel space to the left of the driveway actually belongs to a neighbor who called the police on us. Unless you drive a large truck or SUV, it is unlikely that you will be able to park in the driveway. The angle is about 45 degrees.

We have stayed at this property several times over the years with different family members. The house is decorated in cute bear theme. The bathrooms and kitchen are clean with basic essentials for use. The house is close to downtown and is a short walk to the convention center. The house sits on the hillside and thus has a very very steep driveway. I have never parked my car in the garage, but a couple parking spots are on the streetside. The house code was sent to us at the time of check in, so look for that at 4. There is someone who lives on the lower (yet separate) part of the home, and this is as described in the listing. We recommend this home for those who easily walk, who have a large group, and who need a close say to downtown or the convention center. We really appreciate the hosts who made a comfy home and an easy rental process. Thanks!!!

We have been to Gatlinburg dozens of times. We have rented all types of properties from cabins away from town with a view to hotels or Condos right downtown. This was the best of both worlds!! We had a house and plenty of room, with a view AND walkable to everything! It was meticulously clean. I would 100% stay here again! Only complaints (and not a deal breaker for us anyway)... 1. The beds are super firm (I prefer softer so I didn't sleep well; 2. The showers have amazing pressure but will go from scalding hot to ice cold if anyone else runs any kind of water; 3. We did not get an email ahead of time with the code to get in so we got there and could not get in. that took a while to fix but she got us in as soon as she could and also responded to all texts with any needs.
This seems like a super sweet God fearing family and I hope we can enjoy their home again soon!

excellent location very close to the center, we were a group of 10 with 3 children good space for us. I don't give 5 stars for 3 reasons. 1. I think they need to increase the cleaning, the stove looked like it hadn't been cleaned and it's so old it didn't seem like it was going to work. 2. The parking lot. We couldn't enter the garage because the cars wouldn't go up, at our own risk we parked on the side of the street. 3. Communication should be better. (keep in mind that part of the house is rented to another person which limits you to be talking or sharing time with your family or friends so as not to disturb the person after 10:00 pm

Four sisters and family trip
House was as described. Older home but well maintained with new mattresses. Short walk to everything. Had a small problem with something the cleaning staff missed and talked with the owner and she apologized.

I have stayed here several times. It’s very nice because it’s walking distance to downtown. The house has lots of room for a group of people. When we arrived the code to the door did not work. No problem. I called the property manager and she gave me several codes until one worked. After about four hours into our stay, we discovered numerous cockroaches (dead and alive), fleas that were actively jumping, a dead lizard and several dead moths. I took several pictures. I have no issues with bugs (spiders, ants, flies), but cockroaches is where I draw the line. I texted the property manager pictures and description of what I found at 6:06 p.m. I did not hear back until 3:16 p.m. the next day. This was the property managers response. “ No!!!! I am so very sorry. We do have regular pest control service as well as a professional cleaning company so I hate you are the one telling me!” Unfortunately, we were far from home and didn’t have the money to stay anywhere else. It was a group of eight buddies. So we sucked it up and stayed out of the house until it was time to go to bed. I have never posted a negative review on VRBO or Air B&B because I understand there will be issues that arise at other peoples homes when staying. BUT NOT COCKROACHES! Overall, the house was convenient and had what we needed minus the bugs. I would not suggest bringing your kids here. As I would not allow my wife or one year old son to stay there. It sucks because me and my buddies look forward to our annual trip to Gatlinburg every year and have never had any issues prior. I hope that VRBO makes this right and refunds our money. No one should ever have to stay in a home with cockroaches. A little dust on the TV, not enough towels, or even the wrong door code is one thing. But not cockroaches. Just use caution if you stay here and hopefully they will fix this issue before the next guests arrive.

Our crew had enough space to spread out without feeling cramped & we've got this house rented again in a few months for another business function!
The description did not lie....that driveway up into the garage is VERY steep & we drug bottom initially easing into it, so we chose to park to the left of the driveway in 2 of the un-paved parking areas.
Upon departure we noticed the cleaning people's pickup truck was parked horizontally at the bottom of the driveway with 2 tires on the road, so we actually might try this for 1 of our cars next time.
One night when we were all outside enjoying the warm weather we met the tenant down below & he seemed very nice. He said he could hear everyone walking around upstairs & thankfully we did not have kids with us to be running & jumping throughout the house (the LR area rug is a good idea to help reduce the foot traffic noise).
The bathroom downstairs has a very narrow shower & small bathroom, so larger people will have an issue with that. Otherwise it's a great spot if you're traveling with kids because they can be downstairs in their own private area while the parents are upstairs.

Some people travel to Gaitlinburg and hope to see a bear. We were fortune to have a front row viewing most nights safely from the balcony. The home had lots of space for everyone to sleep after a long day being downtown. Home is sweet & homey and love that they have owned it for several decades.

Great house, lots of space for our big family. Located just a short walk from ALL the Gatlinburg attractions. Parking is a bit of a challenge with the steep drive, but the street side parking was adequate since there was zero street traffic. Never even saw the renter from the apartment. No doubt, we will stay here again!

It was a hectic 2 days. My niece got married!
Very nice place! There was a few issues! One the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut, and because we were it was so hectic for us, I wish we had more towels, also the should provide more trash bags!

The parking space was not good. Toilet seat was very loose
In one of the upstairs bathrooms, the shower/tub has what appeared to be mildew/mold. Overall not good for the price. Some of the beddings were stained. The balcony rail was unsafe, very loose.
