Situated in Central Abaco, this charming house for £439 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Casuarina Point is a unique location with beautiful, crystal clear shallow water and several spoil islands just off shore. This area boasts some of the prettiest white sand beaches in the world, one of which is at your doorstep. The reef that protects the bay provides for calm waters unlike many oceanfront beaches. With several small uninhabited islands in the area you can always find something to do. There are blue holes, shoals, flats, sand banks and at least three very private beaches for swimming and picnics. If you like fly fishing for the elusive bone fish you need not go any further than right out the front door. Several of our guests have caught them wading less the five hundred feet from the house. The sand banks in the area are a great place for the young and old to discover new things like rays, star fish, shelling and sand dollars which we can guarantee that you will find. There is much to do if you wish to get out and explore. For your use there is a paddle board and kayaks, and the option to include our small motorized boat (If you choose this option I will need to add the rental fee after you book). The thirteen foot Boston Whaler will allow you to venture further and discover even more. Our home is situated such that the beach is on one side and the canal access is on the other therefore you will be able to use the boat regardless of tides. Our homes are the only beachfront homes in Casuarina Point that has no restriction due to tides. We also have Key Lime Beach House available with kayaks and optional boat. Should you decide on arranging deep sea, bonefish or snorkeling charters the captains can pick you up at your doorstep. Once again the only beachfront in Casuarina where this can be done. Our home is elevated for good breezes and provides spectacular views of the blues and greens of the bay during the day and millions of stars at night. Watching the moon or sunrise over the bay can be an exhilarating experience. Beach chairs are provided along with lounge chairs for the sun deck. On the covered porch we have an outdoor dining table with seating, Adirondack chairs, lounge chairs and a stainless steel grill. There is a Tiki Hut on the beach with beach chairs that provide you some shade on the beach and a nice place to have lunch. Mango Beach House is very well outfitted as listed below with ample space and very comfortable furnishings as you will see by the photos and items listed. Wireless internet and cable throughout, local and internet phone provided. 3 en-suite bedrooms, all with spectacular beach views, top quality furnishings, linens and towels. 1 king bed with double shower & walk-in closet with entrance to covered deck. 1 queen bed with shower and large closet and entrance to covered deck. 1 queen bed with tub/shower & closet. All bedrooms have flat screen TV’s with HD cable, wifi and excellent views of the beach, bay, ocean and surrounding islands. For those who may like to sleep late the bedrooms have blackout curtains for the areas where sunlight may be an issue. The living area has leather sofa, love seat and chair with ottoman. A 52” Flat Screen Smart TV, DVD player, IPod doc and surround sound. Games, Movies, Music provided, Books and Cookbooks. Inside dining table has seating for eight. Breakfast bar seating for three, porch dining seating for six. Kitchen and breakfast bar have beautiful granite counter tops, full size refrigerator with icemaker, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, hand mixer, blender, coffee maker with timer, can opener, toaster, food processor, flatware service for 12, cooking utensils, cutlery, bake ware, dishes-service for 12, beach coolers, glass and insulated tumblers, barware, cookware and a large variety of spices and condiments. The bar area between the kitchen and living has an ice machine. Our beachfront vacation home is a perfect place for family get togethers, fly fishing, bone fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, shelling, picnicking, boating, diving, snorkeling, swimming, beach combing, shelling, barbecuing, exploring or simply relaxing. Guaranteed not to hear sirens or auto traffic. Covid Protocals A Travel Health Visa is required by the Bahamas Government and can be obtained from the Bahamas Government Travel Site - travel.gov.bs. After obtaining your negative PCR Covid test you will need to apply for the Travel Health Visa. The cost of your health visa covers your 5 day required test. I suggest printing two copies of each to bring with you. Covid testing is readily available at Integrated Medical Center in Marsh Harbour. It is located on the first road after entering the round about when leaving the airport. You will need to have a test 5 days after your arrival. Day after your arrival is counted as the first day. Then you will need a test 3 days (72 hours) before your arrival into the US. If your visit is for a week then you can use the same test to travel as you got on day 5 after your arrival. Abaco is a special place and Cherokee, where Mango House is another spectacular little nook in the world. It's peaceful, interesting because of the tides and the differences between the bay and ocean literally at your feet. The house is honestly one of the best we've ever had the pleasure to stay in. Every cooking item you could want, the grill, boat, paddle boards, chairs, you name it. Communication was as much or as little as we needed. I was very surprised how much better the grocery stores have gotten! They have fruit, fresh veggies, cheese, you name it. There is a fabulous chicken farm not far up the road with other yummies. Restaurants aren't 'close' in that they are 30 minutes away but that's exactly what we came for; peace and quiet and made at home meals. And. yes, the water. Sea turtles around the bend, gigantic bright orange star fish, and a reef not too far on the skiff. It's truly is the Bahamas.

This place is incredible. The best of all worlds in one spot. Depending on the tides, we swam right off the beach, or went to beaches close by, but without the huge rush of the surf here, it was peaceful and beautiful. The area behind the property was great to navigate in the rented boat, and we saw an abundance of wildlife. While we did not catch fish in the rental, we had an incredible time with the charter we booked. My teenage son caught 8 Mahi Mahi with the help of a local guide. We went for beautiful beach walks every evening and morning, chasing crabs and collecting shells. You will not find a more peaceful setting. The house itself was spotless and the property beautiful. Do not hesitate to book this place.

My family of 5 stayed at the Mango House for 10 days and it was everything we wanted and more! It was our own personal little slice of heaven. If you’re looking for a clean, safe, relaxing place to stay - look no further! It was paradise! 10/10!!!

I wanted to take the kids on a trip to see blue waters and white sand for their first time. We found the Mango House and made our reservation. It was absolutely wonderful! The property is right on the beach with a fabulous view. The beach is clean and the ocean is mostly calm. There is a great sandbar a little ways down and my son loved kayaking over there to bury himself in the sand. The canal (where the boat is tied up) has sea turtles and rays. We saw gorgeous starfish, sea cucumbers and urchins out in the reedy area when the tide went down and we could walk out deeper. Be sure to pack water shoes to protect the bottom of your feet if you want to walk out into the reeds. The area is secluded and peaceful. My only hesitation with leaving a great review is that we will compete with others to go back in future years! :)

Fantastic time! This is our family’s second time staying here. (Last was Aug 2018). We all love the private beach, the SUPs, the kayaks, the small power boat etc. We enjoyed chasing bonefish out front, walking along the beach, exploring the island out front, and relaxing with sun and a book. Great that our favorite restaurants were open (Pete’s Pub, Snappas, Wally’s). We’ll be back soon!

We wanted a more private setting not the resort type setting and this was perfect!!
We met some locals that were very helpful. We saw a lot of beautiful sting rays and sea turtles. Found many beautiful shells and loved the privacy of the beach most of the time we had it all to ourselves!!

We needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC work life and wanted quite solitude together in the sun with warm water, privacy and a different style of living. Surprisingly we cooked every meal in the house except one lunch from Pete's Pub & Gallery (south of the house) on the main road. We also found a new hotel with bar and pool a mile down the beach from the house called Coconut Island which was great fun one afternoon hanging out with some locals enjoying some cold beers and great grilled chicken and fish plates.
If you plan on going exploring at the Blue Hole or the caves, I would strongly suggest an SUV as the roads are overgrown and in pretty bad shape.
In the town of Cherokee the provision store (Cherokee Food Fair) had basic products, but very little from fruit, vegetables or meat. Although not certain but it certainly felt like the drive to Cherokee village was about the same duration as the drive to Maxwell's in Marsh Harbour which was the best provisioned store and had the right portions of food for a weekly renter. There is no sign indicating that Maxwells is a grocery store. The only sign is for the Maxwells Furniture store (which is connected to the grocery store).
No need to bring ice to the rental house, as there is plenty of capacity at the house for regular use. Not sure if there was enough for a cooler packed with ice for a day of a boat ride, but plenty for cocktails and normal use.
When shopping be sure to get HE washing machine detergent.
We spent a lot of time on the beach in front of the house in the gazebo playing backgammon, talking, slowing down and watching the tides come in a go out and it was just what we needed. Every night finished off with a seat in the hot tub watching the sun set (which was beautiful) with a glass of bubbles.
It was so nice to have access to the motor boat (although we did not use it) and all the other water toys (kayaks both 1 and 2 person and paddle boards).
I do not know whether this is a seasonal occurrence, but it was quite windy every day with the wind coming from the West which blows on the porch, which was definitely cooling.
We loved our stay and our quite time together and when we find the need to do the same again, we will be going back to Mango House (no hot tub at key lime we were told by the neighbor tenants).

Perfect View
I enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi and watching the sun come up every morning. You can’t beat the private beach and the beautiful sand bars that are out there for your exploration. We opted for the boat rental as well so we were able to fish and visit other islands and see the dolphins swim. Overall, a great time in the sun and sand. The owners were super nice and responsive through the entire process. Thanks so much Donna and James 👍🏻

Donna has been so nice to work with and was able to accommodate us when travel plans changed. We love Casuarina. The views are some of the most amazing and it is truly a vacation to relax and get away. The location is great with the skiff available that is not dependent on the tide. We will be thrilled to stay again! Working with Donna has been a dream! Highly recommend!

We just returned from a spring break visit that included my teenage daughter and son and my husband. The property was spotless. Communication with Donna was fantastic. Fast, easy, and pleasant. The house had many little basics that made a big difference, such as kitchen and bathroom items. The kayaks, paddleboard, and little boat allow for so much fun right from the house. Unfortunately, we had unusual weather issues that prevented us from enjoying the location to its fullest potential, but the potential is there! I would love to visit again on a good weather week! Highly recommend.

Amazing property!
Beautiful house surrounded by coconut palms right on the beach and adjoining canal filled with marine life like bonefish, sea turtles, mangrove snapper, etc. Incredible low tide sand flats out front with starfish bigger than my head. Thank you Donna for sharing your slice of paradise with us and being so helpful answering all of our questions!

I missed the detail when booking that this home backs up to a protected deep water canal where the rental skiff is docked, which is perfect as our guide picked us up from the house every day we fished.
As far as the home itself, we couldn’t have asked for a better layout. Great indoor and outdoor dining spaces with covered porches, large kitchen with seating as the island as well as a dining table for 10.
The rooms were large and well appointed each with their own en-suite bathrooms, two of which opened directly onto the back porch looking straight out to the ocean and flats of Casuarina.
Donna was immediately helpful when the grill ran out of propane and quickly rushed over a fresh LP tank within 10 mins of calling her!
Cannot say enough how great an experience this was, and we will 100% be coming back to stay at her place again.

My college daughters loved swimming and finding sand dollars and starfish. I loved family time, the sunshine and the beautiful water. If you get all your groceries in town, you can stay put and never leave! We cooked and grilled and went down to the food truck in the neighborhood! Can’t wait to come back!

Really enjoyed our stay at Mango house! The location is perfect in a small neighborhood right on some really amazing sand flats. The house was better than the pictures could portray and more than met our needs for the 10+days we were there. Nice to have some creature comforts like central AC in what feels like a more remote setting.

Beautiful home on a beautiful beach
We loved our stay at Mango Beach House! The house was spacious and gorgeous on a prime location. The beach was essentially private. I think we saw our neighbor once in 6 days. It was peaceful, calm, zen! Marsh Harbor is a good distance away, but there is little traffic on the road. You definitely need to rent a car. The ferry to Man O War Cay was easy and pleasant. We road tripped around the island nearly every day but couldn't wait to get back to the beach house to spend every evening on "our" beach. Would definitely return and recommend.

Mango House
This was our second year visiting Abaco and our first staying with Donna. Mango House was an amazing property. The house was exceptionally clean and the layout was ideal for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and calm waters of the sound. The sandbar offered lots of surprises each day and was a fun adventure for all. I would absolutely stay at this property and with Donna again in the future and I recommend Mango House as your vacation destination! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful Stay at the Mango House
Our flight landed earlier than check-in, and Donna was happy to let us check-in early if needed. Groceries were very expensive. I highly recommend taking Donna's advice to pack as many packaged foods as possible. You will still save on costs by paying to check the extra bags carrying the food items. We were a little confused about how to get to the Mango House even after looking at the provided maps, and unfortunately it couldn't be located using our GPS that we are so spoiled to using. However, GPS did locate "Key Lime House", which is located right beside the Mango Houses. The property is located about 25-30 minutes outside of town, so it may be wise to plan to purchase everything that is needed while in town. Gas was also expensive at over $5/ gallon. The house is beautiful, with finishes nicer than my own home. Most spices and condiments were already in the house when we arrived. There were 5 kayaks, a paddle board, beach chairs, life jackets, beach towels, an ice chest, first aid kit, and a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us. The beach is located directly in front of the house, and the water, depending on the tide, could be ankle or mid-thigh deep. My daughters, 8 and 12, we able to run and swim in an area about as big as 5 football fields without me worrying about them being in deep water or being swept off of their feet by large waves. We could watch them safely play in the water from the back porch while we grilled and enjoyed the hot tub. The beach is secluded. We saw no more than 10 people on the beach the entire trip. We kayaked into slightly deeper water and saw large star fish, sea turtles, and sting rays. We also used the boat to explore near by uninhabited islands where we saw a wall of conch shells made an unrooted tree, conchs, lobster, fish, and a small coral reef. One of the owners explained that there was a floating dock along one of the channels where fishing may be good. There is no snorkel or fishing gear at the house, but my husband purchased a rod and caught over 10 mutton snapper at that spot! The channels for the boat were somewhat difficult for us to find, but we took it slow and were cautious of shallow areas. When we did end up in shallow areas, we used the pole and paddle to navigate back to deeper water. We stayed at the house on windy days, and kayaked and boated on the calmer days. Without the wind, the house flies and gnats were pretty bad, so bring repellent! The Mango House was perfect for out family!

What a week!
Mango House is stunning! Perfect for our group of 4 and 6 would work just fine as well. Beautifully decorated, situated perfectly and all the kayaks and paddle boards were heavily used! Donna was easy to work with and very accommodating. Beautiful sunrises every morning, and lots of great sea life. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful and relaxing!
We had a fabulous time at Mango Beach House. The house is perfect for our family of four- the beds were incredibly comfy, everything was spotless, the kitchen was well laid out and met our needs. The beach was incredible- we saw hardly any people and were able to relax, swim, fish, collect sand dollars, and just be together. We hope to make it back!

Gorgeous house but no swimming
The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The setting and view of the water is gorgeous. There are opportunities for bone fishing, kayaking, and motor boating. However, the water is only about 2 feet deep at high tide (across the entire sound), so swimming is impossible. Need to hire boat to get to Cays or the reef for good snorkeling.

Second time and still as good if not better
Our family of 6 spent a week here. This was our second year here. We loved it as much as last year.
The property is clean and modern. The owners are more than helpful, always available to help. We house is right on the beach, kayaks chairs and a paddle board if available for all. You feel as if you are staying on your own private beach. Rarely see other people. Would highly recommend

Absolutely WONDERFUL
Donna and James home was absolutely wonderful for a week in the Abacos. The home was perfect, down to every detail. Definitely a home away from home. I appreciated their open communication and their welcoming spirit. We hope to make it back and would recommend this gem in a heartbeat!

A wonderful place to enjoy family and friend
We were able to dive , fish , spearfish , wade for Bones and relax all in one location. We couldn’t have pick a better place with a home that is truly beautiful with all amenities you need. Sunset and sunrises are a bonus too. Thanks again
