Spent a few days in beautiful Mammoth and found this nice place. I really enjoyed the fact that it felt very open. Our family had a great time. Luckily they did have a baby gate to keep our little one safe from the stairs. We even found a small stroller that we used to walk down to the village. The location was about a ten minute walk. It was a convenient location for getting around. The condo was clean and well equipped. The ice maker wasn’t working but other than that everything else was great!

Really enjoyed our stay in this condo.

There were 6 of us staying in this condo. Nicely appointed and good use of space. Beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets to be cozy with. Firewood was very well stocked for the pot belly stove/fireplace. The Blue Line picks up right outside the condominium complex. Great location, short drive to The Village.
We cooked up a few meals and we all just enjoyed the coziness of the condo.
Things to know…
Ice maker doesn’t work… bring a bag of ice if you like it.
Parking in the garage is a 6ft 6inch clearance. We have a Thule on our truck so we couldn’t park down there. Also 2 flights of stairs to walk up and down the hallway a bit. So a bit of a workout unloading/loading. No elevator in the building.
Guest parking was a little tight over the weekend but opened up on Sunday.
Great stay and would definitely stay again ( I would just pack lighter! LOL)

We loved our stay at this cozy condo and it was the perfect ski pad for our holiday ski weekend in Mammoth. The kids loved the loft space and the multiple beds - just wish the comfy king was downstairs for the master, as the queen was smaller and less comfortable. The master bedroom was a good size with full bath, but there is no drape on a window that lets the light in as soon as the sun comes up, and it only had one nightstand. The bathrooms were a little dark for getting ready, but showers were clean, good size and got warm quickly! Had no problem making meals and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Wish the sliding door in the main room had curtains for privacy but luckily the high built-up snow made it harder to see us! The location was definitely the best part of this unit - The blue line/trolley stop is right outside the garage and we easily hopped on the 2 min ride to the village and took the gondola up to the Canyon Lodge lifts, making getting onto the slopes or out for shopping/food very quick and easy. Covered parking kept our car clean and warm. Overall, we had a great stay!

Great place, nice to have a house in mammoth that doesn't have dirty carpet! Would recommend.

The location is very accessible to Twin Lakes and the village. It was clean and in good condition. A curtain for the sliding door would have been nice. Also cooking spray and some cooking oil would be nice to have on hand. Kindling fir the fireplace would have made starting fires easier. But I would stay again because it was such a nice place.

Great place and super nice. Loved the location, the place and everything about it. Would stay here again any time. Wifi could be a bit more stable (lodge is almost better to work from) but otherwise awesome. Recommend!

Mammoth Stay
Location was great and close to the shuttle for canyon lodge. Parking for more than one car was a little bit challenging but doable. I think the space was just a little bit too small for 6 people and the bathrooms felt small and too tight. For a place that was recently remodeled, it didn’t feel like it had been. Also, the check out procedure required way too many things for us to do before leaving (and the fees so steep i.e. if even a single light was left on or one of the heaters not turned all the way to off or the dishwasher not started or single item left in fridge) considering how much it was to stay there a night and what the cleaning fee was. Not a bad place to stay and location was convenient but will be staying elsewhere next time we go to Mammoth.

Easy location, nice condo. However, lock box for key was not accessible, very hard to see in the dark spot where located. Dirty bedroom window could barely see outside. Balcony door jammed not easy to open at all. Shower/baths in need of some upgrades.

This property is very spacious for a prime location in Mammoth. A large family or extended family can stay here comfortably. Furniture and fixtures are upgraded and modern. Everything works and the heater in the shower is a nice touch.
VRBO pictures look nicer than in reality.
Parking is in the basement, but the unit is on the 2nd floor. You have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to your room and there is no elevator. It took many trips up and down to get packed in and packed out. Luckily we had two guys who were like pack mules. We were attracted to the spiral staircase when we were booking. It is charming, but getting luggage up and down is a chore.
Also the main property common area such as lobby and entrance areas are outdated. I would say mainly the carpet that makes it look more dated than it should.
I’m just point out some cons that may not be apparent from the unit listing. Overall we had a magical stay. Those things can be overlooked by the fact that you’re getting to stay all together and making those sweet memories.
We came in the summer. But I can see how wonderful it would be in the winter as well.

Perfect place for my daughter's first Mammoth ski trip. Light, bright and clean with very comfortable furnishings.

Great location, awesome lodging
Rented this property last minute on a spur of the moment snowboard trip. Finding a true 2BR was tough with this nice of a location and unit. There were just two of us, but there was enough room for additional people if we wanted. Very cozy place, and best thing was we could easily walk to the village and gondola from the unit. Will be back for sure.

Great Location & Service
My wife and I stayed here in March of 2021 and had a very pleasant experience. It was located close to the village and on the Blue Line to Canyon. Kevin from Five Star was great! My wife left her wedding ring there and before we got to Bishop he had called me to let me know it was left behind. Great service and location. 5 stars all around!

Phenomenal property, beautiful location. Gave five stars for everything except for ‘communication with property manager’. We noticed a bucket under the sink collecting water on our final night. They did not mention that the sink was leaking before we checked in. I reached out to make sure they were aware of the sink leak and never heard back. This was our only concern...Hopefully everything is okay.

Only complaints would be no elevator so lot of heavy lifting up 2 flights of stairs with a lot of luggage. Also, for some reason all the lights in the bathrooms are very low hanging and dim. I'm 6' tall and my wife is 5'-7" and we both had to bend down to shave and put on make up (wife.) I'm a contractor so I guess I'm picky about those things. Other than that, we really enjoyed the place. Thank you!

Great place with one major flaw
The place has a lot going for it. It's nicely updated, immaculate and in a good location. For us, the deal breaker was that the large windows and sliding glass doors in the main room have absolutely now window coverings whatsoever. This means that however bright it is outside will also be how bright it is in the loft area where the bunk beds are. We had our two young kids sleeping there, so they basically woke up at sunrise (around 5:30am in the summer) everyday because the room got so bright. It kind of ruins the trip to have kids up so early every day.
If you don't have someone sleeping in the loft with the bunk beds, or if you are staying there in the winter and don't mind people being able to see into the living room at night, then it wouldn't be an issue.
I have never rented a place that did not have blinds on all the windows, so I guess I assumed it was standard. You can see in the photos that there are no drapes or blinds on the main windows in the main room. From now on I will check the photos of any rental property to make sure all the windows have window coverings. Lesson learned.

We were very happy with the location and the unit was exactly what we expected. Highly recommended

Perfect for 2 families!
The house is simply perfect for 2 families.
PROS:
-VERY close to the village! Either bus or walk away easily.
-Kitchen was well equipped with kitchen supplies in order to cook dinner and breakfast
-Overall great unit! We had 7 people ( 2 families & it was perfect size! )
-Loved that the TV's were able to sign into netflix etc. ( Major plus for the kiddos at night )
- Found the monopoly game & enjoyed playing that since we forgot ours!
-Kitchen towels & paper towels & trash bags plenty of!
Would of been nice to have: ( Nothing to serious!)
- just a COUPLE more extra towels would of been nice. I know there is a washing machine etc on site. But it would of been nice to just have a couple more extra instead of basically one per person.
- Basic cleaning supplies like ( disinfectant spray or wipes ) would of been helpful as we cooked 1-3 meals there but couldn't find just wipes or spray to clean off counter.
To me, those are not cons but would of been useful! Simply awesome house!

Enjoyed staying here! Another group we were with actually stayed in a unit in the same building down the hall and there’s did not compare to ours at all. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Clean, peaceful and convenient.
We stayed at this site in September. It was great and was plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was stocked generously with paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap. The location was great - only a 10 minute walk to the Village. The neighborhood was peaceful with a lot of trees. I would recommend this condo and would stay again.

Condo is just as shown online, stylish and simple. The location is great to be central to town. Quite community and they are very responsive to your questions or needs.

A bit short of perfect
Everything was fine except the master did not have a king sized bed and that was the one requirement we have when choosing a place to stay. Some of the towels and linens were dirty/hairy too.
