With accommodations for up to eight Lucky guests, this is an ideal property for a family getaway. On the first floor you’ll find a stylish living room open to the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. The first-floor primary suite with en suite bath is perfect for those wishing to avoid stairs. The second bedroom is upstairs, and has a queen bed, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. A full bathroom and laundry facilities are located in the hallway, shared by both upstairs bedrooms. You’ll be a quick walk to a selection of Savannah’s best restaurants, including Screamin Mimis Pizza and Hitch, perennial Savannah favorites. Spending the night in? Find everything you need from wine and cheese to choice cuts of meat at the Smith Brothers Butcher Shop nearby. Why Lucky Savannah Loves this Property: - There’s plenty of non metered parking the surrounding area. - If you choose to bring a pet to this pet-friendly home, you’ll be directly across the street from Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. What is parking like for this home? Savannah’s historic buildings, squares, and streets have been beautifully preserved through the dedicated efforts of the Historic Savannah Foundation. Founded before the invention of the automobile, parking can be limited. Non-metered Parking This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends. Stay was great, we loved the town and had a blast in Savannah. The property for the most part was fine. However, there were no blankets provided othe than a thin fleece and two U-Haul furniture wrapping blankets. U-HAUL FURNITURE WRAPPING BLANKETS ARE NOT BLANKETS. This was a very disappointing aspect of this property!

We loved our stay at this rental! The rental company was very communicative and offered clear an concise check in and check out instruction. The house was in a great location, walking distance to many attractions and felt very safe. The house had all of the basic amenities. Some additional linens and towels would have been a nice touch. The hot water supply was also quite limited, you could really only get one short hot shower in before the water ran cold.

It’s a great spot to access riverfront area. Small living and kitchen area but large bedrooms. Only complaint was No paper towels, kitchen towels or bath mats. But that’s it!! Had a great trip!!

Nice Location
We loved everything about this property.
Plenty of room in the main area and kitchen for gathering.
Nice bedrooms and baths. the only two complaints are the outside space is on the small side and the dishwasher needs cleaned. But very walkable to town and the many squares in town.

Location is on perimeter of town but only 2 blocks to a great coffee shop and about 4 blocks to restaurants. It was musty when we arrived but aired out quickly. Upstairs is bright and sunny and having full washer and dryer was very useful. Parking was no problem. Good value for a family.

The house was located in a convenient part of town, but the beds, especially the twin beds upstairs were very uncomfortable and springy. After traveling all day and getting little sleep the first night due to the beds, we requested foam pads for the next 2 nights. Apparently the owners don't really care about the comfort of their guests as I made the request early in the day and by 8pm they had still not responded to the request. The housekeeper brought us a couple of extra comforters to pad the bed which helped a little but still not sufficient. The A/C upstairs was set to "winter setting" and did not cool off the first night. After calling for help we were instructed to reset it and by the end of the 2nd day it was cooler...not cool but improved. It would have been nice if this would have been taken care of before we arrived so we weren't hot the first night. Until all of the beds are made more comfortable I would not recommend this house. Even the sheets were poor quality/scratchy. The quality of the furniture was not what we expected. The table between the twin beds is damaged, the beds squeaky, missing lightbulbs, the living room very small to accommodate 6 guests with seating for only 5.

The cottage was not as we had expected upon arrival. The Master Bdrm was not made up and calls had to be made to Service to get it done.There was evidence of water damage, not sure if it had been from the hurricane, or longer.

Appliances were very old. Overall, everything in the house was was poorly equipped and done on the cheap. The a/c filters were very dirty and should have been changed a long time ago. Utensils, cook pots and pans were dirty, I.e.: dried food. Everything had to be washed before we could use. No table cloth or placemats very supplied,etc, etc. The location was good.

The staff at Lucky Savannah are all phenomenal! Extremely helpful and very pleasant. I would rent from Lucky Savannah again. The house was in a good location, understandably old and rickety being Savannah, but I thought the condition was worn and beat up looking. Cleanliness was mediocre; definitely needs a more detailed cleaning crew. All in all, a good experience.

Nice accommodations for a large group. Reasonably priced given the special event weekend, a bit of a walk from the main area of town but most certainly walkable (I never used a car the entire weekend). Pull out sofa was not the most comfortable, but the rest of the sleeping quarters worked great.Overall would recommend for a large group that plans on spending most of their time exploring the town.

Juniper Cottage was a great historic home to stay in Savannah! We walked everywhere we went! Well equipped kitchen, nice bed linens & decorated so cute! Master with bath on ground level and another bath and two bedrooms upstairs. Quaint little back porch with a small charcoal grill. This home is 150 years old or so...neat way to enjoy this history city!

Juniper cottage was such a neat cottage that was much bigger on the inside that it looked. The cottage has a lot of interesting history. It was super clean and had the essentials we needed at check in so we didn’t have to go immediately to the store. For some of us, with younger legs it was not a bad walk at all to several parts of this beautiful historic city. Beds were very comfortable and the quaint back porch was a perfect little place to have coffee in the mornings. We had one little problem with the sound on the TV and maintenance was there in like 30 minutes , very very nice and had it fixed for us fast! The older people in our group had some trouble with the stairs - just something to consider as you're narrowing down your accommodations options. But we still had a fabulous time!

The Juniper cottage was perfect for our visit to Savannah. Very clean and well appointed. The Lucky Savannah staff were a pleasure to work with and immediately available, even on the weekend. The location was a moderate walk to the things we wanted to do, including the Civic Center for the SCAD graduation. Broad Street seems to fully run across the city - so easy drive to everything as well. Would definitely stay there again.

this adorable and spacious rental fit the needs of my party and myself as we embarked on a weekend Savannah adventure. Close enough to walk to all Savannah has to offer, but enough removed from the raucous nature of River Street, we experienced the best of both worlds. Going in the spring was the best as the jasmine bloomed. This cool cottage was the perfect retreat.

We loved this place! It's so cute top to bottom. Location- While on the edge of the historic district, everything you'd want to explore there is within easy walking distance. Though it sits on a rather busy street, you rarely hear traffic noise. There is a nice meat market around the corner where you can stock up on supplies. Cleanliness- Grade AComfort- It was as comfortable as your own home. All six of us settled in & felt at ease quickly. Parking- It was never an issue. We all we able to park either right out front or just around the corner. Just check the signs for the days they clean the streets. The Rental Staff- Lucky Savannah is top notch. They communicate well with you, quickly answer questions even on weekends, we're professional & curteous. They even have a nice app for your smart phone which you can download which has an abundance of info about the rental & about the area. Misc- Kitchen was well stocked with just about every kitchen item you need to cook up a meal. Plenty of extra sheets & blankets, if needed. Spacious enough for 6 adults. One item for light sleepers- given the age of the house (pre AC) the two bedrooms upstairs are cooked with portable AC units to help keep up with the load (the house does have central AC, but it seems to work best downstairs). The portable units did a great job of cooling, but they were a bit loud for a couple people. It was not a deal breaker, but worth noting for some. I would absolutely stay here again!!

We really had a nice stay. Great location, we were able to easily walk to Broughton Street and beyond(it was too far for my 78 year old mom to walk) Parking was easy and convenient, and we had 5 cars at times! We were able to park out front or right around the corner. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets and towels. We did request a set of sheets for the sofa bed, and they were promptly delivered. I had a few questions, and they were promptly answered by email or text.Because of the high ceilings it was hard to maintain a constant comfortable temperature, we were continually making adjustments to the heat.(in all fairness, it was very cold in Savannah during out stay, I think a bit colder than usual.) If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars because of the heating unit. We enjoyed shopping on Broughton, dinner at The Flying Monk, ice cream at Leopold's, breakfast at Goose Feathers to name a few, and a walk through the cemetery. We visit Savannah at least 6x a year.I would like to mention if guests are elderly and walks with a cane to beware there is a step up to the kitchen, and a step up to the upstairs bathroom. Plus the stairs to the 2nd floor are steep. It got a little tricky for my 78 year old mom, we did keep her downstairs.

Photos show property larger than actual. Drawers stick and do not work properly; knobs are missing. Rooms are dark and lighting is insufficient especially in the bathrooms. One lamp did not even have a lightbulb. Unable to use hideabed in LR due to other heavy furniture in the way. One BR door will not close as bed is in the way. Should only be one bed in it. Fan in LR is annoyingly noisey. MMost of the window blinds do not work. Shower curtains fell down. Towel rack fell off wall. Entry code did not work. Had to call and get it changed. Master BR bed had a rubber sheet on it. Water heater supplies hot water for 2 showers then must wait for it to heat up. Located on a very busy street. It was clean and did allow pets.

We gad a great time at the Juniper Cottage for a girls weekend. Everyone seemed to love the charm of the house and the openness of the common area. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The key access was a big perk with a large group coming and going. The location was good for our group, with a 1 mile walk to River Street which was pleasant during the warmer part of the day. We used cabs at night, which was about a $10 ride for 5 people. Of course a location right on River Street would be better, but this location was spot on for the price.I have stayed in another rental from Lucky Savannah, and although it was a little more high end, this property was sufficient for a low key group. The kitchen amenities (pots, pans, cups) could use a refresh. We did have everything we needed though. The only minor complaints for the weekend was the hot water, as 8 females showering at once made it run out quickly. We had to stagger our showers. It is understandable that 8 people can't shower on one heater, but it ran out in the first 2 showers, which was a little bit disappointing. Otherwise, the upstairs twin bedroom's door doesn't close, as the bed is in the way. This didn't bother us too much, but could be an issue for lighter sleepers or children. Overall, we had a GREAT time and it was perfect for our group and a great deal! It was so much more fun to spend time in a house vs hotel rooms.

This rental was perfect for our group. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Communication with Lucky Savannah was amazing - on our first morning we realized the coffee pot was broken and they delivered a brand new one that morning! Really thoughtful and we were thrilled with our stay. Great location. Only note - the wifi is not super strong so if you plan to work from there at all, maybe go to a coffee shop or bring a hot spot.
