The beautiful Savannah vacation rental features 6 bedrooms, 7 baths. It sleeps a whopping 18 guests in gigantic bedrooms! The Savannah vacation rental is perfect for your large family gathering, wedding groups, family, and friends. There`s a garden level and main house with a large courtyard connecting the two properties that offer several large porches for catching an evening sunset while sipping sweet Southern tea. This lovely estate was just renovated & opened September 2012. Guests will enjoy brand-new appliances as well as beautiful, modern decor throughout the property. The main house features a grand staircase with a chaise lounge in front of the window at the top, two matching living rooms with large flatscreen TVs and a full bathroom off the right living room with a standing shower, bedroom with a single and two queen bunk beds as well as a flatscreen TV, hall bath with a clawfoot tub, and a kitchen with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances, and a dining area with seating for 6 that opens to a lovely screened porch. On the second floor the first bedroom has a queen sized bed as well as a single bed, it`s own full bathroom, and there`s a washer/dryer in the hallway. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, sitting area, and full bath. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, flatscreen TV, gigantic bathroom with a clear shower, twin pedastal sinks & clawfoot tub, chaise lounge, wet bar area, large mirrors, and access to a large porch for sitting and enjoying the Savannah breeze. In summary, the main house has a total of 4 bedrooms, 5 baths, and sleeps a total of 12 people. The garden level features a full bath, a bedroom with two queen beds, living room, another bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath in the hallway, washer dryer, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast table with seating for 4. March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. I have been using VRBO for more than 15 years and have never written a negative review…not even once until now. This house has lacked some maintenance over the years. A fact that is quite obvious in any room or garden of the property. The furniture is obviously hand me downs well used and warn for decades. Most of this could be considered charm to a quite optimistic person. But this is just the first sign of poor management. The management teams use of automated messages and passive aggressive policies left us dealing with sewage and large amounts of feces for more than 2 days. To which we eventually received call from inadequately trained plumbers being guided by a representative of the ownership who stated this was a known problem. IF YOU HAVE A KNOWN SEWAGE PROBLEM…FIX IT!

Our Savannah house was wonderful for our large group of friends. All our questions were answered immediately. The location was good. House was very clean. Everything was there for what we needed.

This home is spectacular, a little sad that one of the showers was not working. We enjoyed the balcony on the second floor and being able to all sit in the upstairs dining/living room to discuss plans for the day. Would have Loved to have some type of background as to whom lived in this house throughout the years. Hoping to come back to Savannah and will keep this place in mind when we do.

Group get together for my son’s bachelor Group, the house is perfect for having plenty of rooms and space for a wonderful trip, WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! It’s in the middle of all the interesting spots from local bars and restaurants! You guys have the spot! Thanks again for a great time!

Beautiful place. Most things were walkable: 1-2 miles to attractions. Accommodations were great for a large group. We had issues with hot water, but rental agency was responsive (& real solution is a new water heater according to plumber who came - and that wasn’t happening with us there. ) Only complaint was squeaky beds.

Nice looking old home in a quiet neighborhood that is close to many attractions in Savannah. That being said I do not believe this home should be rented out until some major repairs are made. I will contact the property managers with specifics

The pictures don't do this property justice, honestly. It is so much more beautiful in person; massive and accommodating for larger parties. Lots of stairs but that is expected in larger downtown homes. I love the fact that there was a separate suite on the main level as well. Everyone had plenty of space to congregate or to split off for some alone time. We will absolutely be back!!

This is a beautiful spacious home that can accomodate large families/guests. Hosts were very responsive before, during and after our stay. Definitely worth the rental price.

Excellent Historic Home
This gorgeous home was perfect for our needs! Location, cleanliness and comfort were all top notch. We had thought based on description that there were two different bunk beds available, there was one bunk bed with queen mattresses on top and bottom. It was no problem though, we had a great stay!

This property has strong positives but is not very well maintained. The house itself is gorgeous and provided very comfortable space for us 4 couples. The location is excellent and is in a beautiful neighborhood right off Forsyth Park. The hosts (a company) are very nice and communicate well. It was very clean when we arrived.
However, when we arrived, the glass top of the kitchen table was broken with sharp edges(!) Maintenance came the next day, but the removal crew was not careful and left some shards that we had to clean up. The glass top of the dining table was also chipped in multiple places and someone could get cut if not careful. Maintenance taped those chips for us. WIFI was so slow that it was unusable and apparently could not be fixed. We had to use our cell plans during our stay. A couple of showers didn't drain well (water pooling at the feet) and several box springs were uncomfortably squeaky (one couple switched rooms for that reason only). Some things were broken. If maintenance issues were to be addressed, the property spruced up a bit, and some comfort items added (extra blankets, comfortable pillows, better lighting, etc.) , this could easily be a 5-star property.

My daughter got to the property at approximately 133pm and she said when she arrived the cleaning crew arrive shortly after her yet we paid for a 2pm check in. There was food and candy still on the 2nd floor dining room. The shower door on the 3rd level was broken and didn’t close and the tub in the same bathroom didn’t drain. Paint was peeling in the kitchen and hanging (and I don’t mean a small area) and there was a dining room chair with a broken arm.
There was one problem after another and I felt that the property was not prepared for our arrive. I will say that when we complained about the issues they sent maintenance out immediately to fix most of the problems but the dishwasher issue wasn’t fixed but in their defense when the incident happened it was after hours and the weekend. I feel this property is lovely and would be a great destination but they need to do some serious renovations to bring the property up to the standards one would expect from the photos.
Just an FYI: the pool area is small so get there early if you want to swim.

Since it was early December, we had asked if any Christmas decorations would be up, the owners made sure there were decorations and a tree. It was very thoughtful and nice of them.
We had the whole house, including the separate apartment on the garden level. Both kitchens were very well stocked, and we were able to easily cook big dinners for our party of 12! Lots of bathrooms and space! Only a couple of things, we struggled getting the WiFi to work in the rooms in the third floor and maybe more TVs needed in bedrooms. We all highly recommend this home and of course Savannah!
