A beautiful character hotel with a lot if charm close to the museum district of Amsterdam. A lovely residential area away from the hustle and bustle of central Amsterdam. Quality restaurants within easy walking distance. The bar and outdoor area of the hotel were excellent!
The room was quite small for the price.

The room was very large with a little balcony which I really appreciated. The location was nice and quiet.
The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. There was no coffee maker in the room, just a kettle with instant coffee.

Comfortable room in quiet location convenient for the museums. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice.

Quiet location, but with good transportation to the museums and the centre.
Well decorated and good sized rooms. Ours overlooked the garden at the back, but the road at the front is quiet.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing - it was great.

Not so far away from the center also by foot. The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.
The breakfast is OK and the hotel staff very kind.
The hotel does not have its own parking but you have the possibility of parking the car in the paying car parks on the side of the road around the hotel. Attention, frequent checks and salty fines.

Our first Time to Amsterdam, This is a real quaint hotel, you feel as if you are a Bugsy Malone Movie, We loved it, its only 5 Minutes on a Tram to the city centre, ...I'd say just be a bit more prepared coming To Amsterdam, do a little bit of research, defo buy a 1 or 2 or 3 day Travel ticket from the Airport its €30 and can use on Train,Tram and Metro...
We wold defiantly come back to the Apollofirst...5 stars!!!

Clean, spacious room, lovely decor in the hotel. Bed mattresses and pillows were memory foam so very comfortable. Excellent choice at breakfast. Located outside the city center slightly, it's a 2 minute walk to tram line and everything within easy reach.
Nothing really, the stairs were very narrow and winding but they had a lift so all good.

This was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever used. The concierge was very helpful. I also appreciated the daily refills on water bottles.
The only con would be the breakfast being a little on the expensive side.

Rooms are lovely and comfortable, location is also great as it’s round the corner from a tram stop which takes you up and into the city centre
Our bathroom sink was leaking underneath Bht aside from that no issues at all. Bed was comfortable, the place was really clean and staff were great.

it was unique in many ways it had a history that has been reflected in the furnishing and decor. it was an elegant hotel in a lovely tree filled street.
very difficult to find fault Like many Dutch houses it had steep stairs but there was a small lift that was reliable.

Its based in a residential neighborhood but its not far fm central and restaurants & super market and the bus stop was all nearby.
Breakfast options were limited specially for vegetarian folks and it was the same for our 4 day stay which was a bit repetitive.

Karim at the desk was an excellent host. As were the night watch gentleman. Place was a bit far for an overnight and continued plane ride the next day.
Bathroom smelled a bit moldy. It was comfortable otherwise.
