Location to river street
This hotel was not worth the price. A bit confused how my bill was 4000.00 when there day cost was $170.00 per day

the location was decent , the barges and weekend parting is LOUD!
absolutely horrific finding your room. you have to go to the 4th floor and get on a second elevator to go to the 3rd floor. The hotel layout is very confusing - all guest were scrambling to find their room!

View was great
The rooms were a little expensive

how it was on the river and a lot of quick access to everything.
being a historical hotel the balcony doors were original glass so I didn’t block out the noise of a leaf blower. but it wasn’t overwhelming.

We loved the historic building and the size and river view of our room. The location was great and the on-property restaurants convenient and good.
The staff was responsive but not personable. We are used to a level of engagement and friendliness when staying at properties and in rooms that are higher end facilities. While the staff performed their functions and responded to our questions/requests, they did so with little to no engagement or enthusiasm. We certainly got the feeling that we were being asked "how was your stay" with absolutely no interest in the answer. The same was true of the few other interactions we had with the front desk team.
The Valet personnel on the other hand were very friendly, engaged and helpful.

Hotel was beautiful and great location.
No maid service. For a 4 day stay with two adults we had no changing of sheets or fresh towels. Also $39.00 a day for parking is completely taking advantage.

such a beautiful hotel. Room was clean and wonderfully decorated

River View from Room
Comfortable bed mattress
Size of room inadequate for 2 Queen beds and 3 Adults
Ridiculous Wrought Iron four poster bed frames- too large for the room served no purpose except to cause injury- stubbed toes, and uncomfortable headboard. Very small wardrobe 6 hangers and no real space to store suitcases.
Room wasn't serviced - reception said we should have asked for the room to be made up - we are on holiday expect the room to be made up each day as a matter of course. We were left with no towels at the end of a busy and very warm day, when complained we were told basically it was our fault for not specifying the service was required, housekeeping had now finished for the day and a bag of clean towels were left in our room while we were out for dinner. I had stayed at this hotel before with my husband and Granddaughter also in a river view room and we were pleased with the room then (2016).

Location, the Managers complimentary cocktail hour. Val, one of the cocktail hosts was brilliant and such good fun.
Only being allowed one room service per visit . Being located in a room with the air conditioning unit right outside the bedroom window - very noisy especially at night when trying to sleep. Being charged a destination charge which I was unaware of.
