We had hoped for a River view from our room but didn’t get it, got construction in the back. That was disappointing but the room was great!

location only
nothing it is dirty and damaged

The location was wonderful, the view out of the riverfront room was amazing with all of the ships, boats and ferries constantly going down the river. Staff was the friendliest of anywhere we've stayed before.
Our only "complaint" was the high cost of food and necessities purchased in the hotel store. Because of the inconvenience of getting into the historic district, hard to find parking, difficulty in walking if you have physical restrictions like I do, we had to have several meals or snacks in the hotel, which adds up. However, the beauty of the hotel outweighed worrying about going over our budget.

Great view of the Savannah River from our room.

I loved the view from our balcony. The hotel was beautiful.
The hotel needs to be more strick on quiet hours as people were partying until 2 am. I did call the desk and I had to tell them to quiet down.

Room was ready. It was spacious with comfy bed and a great shower. Front desk gave me an umbrella to use. We received St. Patrick's Day beads in the lobby when we arrived. Nice touch!
I had to park my own car in the lot AND pay $25 to park there. Self-park should be free for hotel guests

Hotel is beautiful. Reception area has a warm atmosphere. Nicely decorated. Proximity to river street is excellent it’s just a short walk along the water.
Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Coffee and tea and a small fridge in the rooms. Plenty of towels. Our room had a balcony.
The walls are paper thin you can hear entire conversations from people who walking through the hallway.
you have to be a member for free wifi.
you need your key to exist the parking lot and you must go back in the hotel to return the key or you will be charged a fee. Who charges for lost keys!!!

Excellent location, near food and shopping and on the beautiful riverfront.
The cost of daily parking. Should be no parking fee if staying at the property.

It was a very beautiful property and directly on the riverfront. I also loved how all the restaurants and shopping were in walking distance.
I wasn’t a fan of the $40.00 per day parking however, everything else was so beautiful that it trumps the parking!!!

I think that it was on the River
All the construction. Far from everything.

Location , eateries on premises
Air conditioning in room broken, was given a box fan on day 2.
They could not find our booking upon arrival, took several minutes and under my middle initial instead of name.
Room smelled very musty like wet rug

It's convenient where it's located because you can walk to the river front.
What I didn't like was last year we stayed and never had to pay for parking. This year we stay had to pay $40.00 a night for parking. The cost of stay to me was way to much and still have to pay for parking. This was our last trip there.

Location, available services, staff
A/C in the room was not able keep up with the heat. The staff did inspect it and brought a fan for the room, but it was still uncomfortable and stuffy at times.

Breakfast has lots of choices and the staff was very friendly. Mrs. Donna was our server and she was so nice.
We were disappointed there was not a hot tub. Also the parking price per day was a bit too much when there was no valet parking. Also not to mention all the posted signs "the hotel was not responsible for damage or stolen items to your vehicle". I believe that the parking could be more affordable for your guest when they are responsible for parking their own vehicle. These 2 things will determine our decision if we stay here again.

Breakfast was awesome, and staff was nice. Clean and friendly.
The room could’ve been bigger for the price we payed.

The biggest issue was something in the room was bothering my allergies big time. My guess is old dust from the AC vent was not cleaned as I’m allergic to dust. The TV got about 4 crappy channels and parking for $40 per day was ridiculous. No free wifi. Being on the river was nice, but it was $300 on Saturday night and not worth the money. No free breakfast, no lotions in the bathroom, no towel racks at all. You could tell they updated it cosmetically, but nothing else. Sinks were low, toilets low, so those were old, carpet was old. It had a small balcony that you could see the river from the side we were on, but being on the seventh floor we couldn’t open the door at all because the air conditioners on the roof are so incredibly loud, you had to close the door. When we checked out the young man at the desk never asked how our stay was and when I told him about the poor internet connection and TV and having to pay for wifi he couldn’t have cared less.

The concierge was super helpful getting us trolley tickets and identifying attractions that we would like most based on our interests. The location made it easy to walk, shop, explore and the bed was WAY comfortable!
Nothing, no complaints!
