Restaurants was a complete disaster the chop house. Very disappointed l. Need new management and chef
Took 1 1/2 for appetizer never got food took it to go 2 hours there after getting own drinks at bar becasue no one was capable of getting the job done. Complete disappointment. Wasted lots of money was not cheap. Food was put in to go boxes after waiting to long to get. And it was horrible. Barely edible. Staff knew these issues apologized that there was a lot going on. Spent a lot of money and got nothing out of it. Food tgrow. Away. Worst experience ever and we sr win hospitality bussiness. Will never return. Tv in room had line thru it and the hot tub was broken. Next time the kimpton.

I liked the grounds. The pool. The amenities within the resort.
Our room only had skylights. No window. This wasn’t communicated or shown on any videos. I’m not even sure this is legal as I was worried in the case of a fire n

Rooms were a great size and all the staff were excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. Location is perfect for walks and car park had plenty of spaces.

The location was central to all shops and events in the area.
We have no complaints.

Great amenities! We borrowed tennis racquets and balls and played tennis on the courts. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. We sat outside at the fire pit in the chilly evening.

We loved the fire pit. Sat around drinking wine and socializingl
The a/c was not working when we arrived. They did come and fix it after we called.

I would give the staff at the hotel 100% for friendliness but the waitress in the dining room, the African-American girl was very unfriendly and seem to resent any request for service.
The manager at the spa could use some training, she was very unclear about payment for services and prices and assumed customers knew the routine. This is not my first experience at a spa and everyone has a different system and guests need to be aware of how payment and tips are handled.
I was on the third floor, and the walls are very thin. There were children staying above my room and the running and door slamming was very annoying.

A nice quiet location, beautiful grounds, fabulous fitness facilities, lots of comfortable common areas to relax, great fire pit and terrace, large room
Our first allocated room had a very sloping uneven floor which was understandable given the age of the building however we couldn’t have stayed in that room. The staff were only too happy to find us a better room.

Hotel is in a great location in Manchester and was easy to get to from Stratton. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Made for a nice getaway!
Pool/Hot tub hours were limited; hard to utilize them to relax after a day of skiing.

Banana’s Foster was an excellent choice on the menu!!!! One of my favorites but very rarely seen on a menu where we come from.
Did not like that it was a pet friendly hotel. For those of us that like to sleep at night it was very disturbing to have someone running their dog up and down the hall a good part of the night

It was nice
Rooms were needing a refresh in particular the bathrooms. One of our bathrooms drain didn't work and moldings were falling off. Also the AC was not working properly so the room got very cold during the evening. They did seem to fix it once we reported it.

The staff was very friendly. The grounds were beautiful and I loved the atmosphere! The hot tub was great!
The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable.
Our room didn't have a refrigerator which would have been nice to have. Our room was up on the 4th floor and there is only one elevator in the building leading to the 1st floor to get to the lobby. My family and I love playing foosball & ping pong. The game room had a foosball table but NO balls. The ping pong table had one racquet and NO balls. The air hockey table didn't work. That was disappointing. Someone should be there to check those items so the games work for their guests. The room was a bit pricey. I think we ate at the Marsh Tavern. The menu was extremely limited. It only had 3 different types of hamburgers to choose on the menu, no other options but I'd come back again:)

The food facilities closed so early. Had to go travel into the town to find food/snacks etc. This would have been a deal breaker for us had we known before arriving

relaxing, beautiful outdoor space, enjoyed the indoor fireplaces
the bartender in the restaurant came across that we were an inconvenience & didn’t want to be servicing the guest

Location is fantastic - love the proximity to hiking trails and all of downtown Manchester. Townhouses have full sized kitchens and nice porches.
For the price and based on descriptions, I was expecting much nicer finishes. The rooms were big and the beds comfortable, but the carpets smelled like cigarette smoke and the bathrooms were clean but haven't been updated in a very long time. Based on the website, I was also expecting room service to be available and it was not.

We left the hotel as soon as possible and ate elsewhere.
When we arrived we were given a room in the Orvis Inn.We should have been assigned a room in the main hotel as clearly indicated on our reservation. This was bait and switch to give us a much inferior room in the Orvis Inn.which was totally unacceptable and dishonest.
The room in the Orvis Inn was noisy, had a tiny bathroom, no magnifying mirror, loose faucet and was very dreary as was the whole building. Also we were further away from the hotel facilities ( and as we are in our 70's) we did not have easy access to the pool and restaurants.
This room should have been priced at one quarter of the price.
In no way was this a luxury hotel experience. And we are extremely disappointed the the hotel did not honor
our reservation of a room in the main hotel.
We have stayed in this hotel before , when it was better managed, room reservations for the main building were
honored, and there was someone to take our bags to the room. None of this occurred on this visit!
The hotel has really deteriorated.
