Perfect Apartment at Downtown: The apartment location is ideal as it is located 100 meters from Passeig de Gracia and 300 meters from Plaça Catalunya. Also sited only 200 meters away from the metro stations Urquinaona (L1, L4) and Passeig de Gracia (L2, L3, L4). Its privileged location allows you to walk to the main tourist areas, as it is located within walking distance of the Ramblas, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia, the Gaudi`s most emblematic buildings or representative Barcelona shops. The spacious living room, a little more than 30 square meters, has a large table to accommodate all occupants. The seating area has two comfortable sofas, a 32' TV and DVD. There is free WiFi throughout the apartment. This large apartment has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. 1 Bedroom suite with double bed. 2 Rooms with double bed. 1 Bedroom with two single beds. Both two sofas in the living room can become double sofa bed, accommodating up to 4 people. Two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. The kitchen is very spacious, thanks to large windows and barra. There you'll find all the comforts: Nespresso machine, washer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. Enjoy this magnificent apartment and comforts of their environment. Great selection of restaurants, bakeries, tapas bars, supermarkets and shops of all kinds. Friend groups younger than 35 years old are not permitted in this apartment.

Our family was happy to find a spot with adequate room so close to our favorite spots in Barcelona.

Clean and spacious. Perfect location. The water pressure problem should be sorted. In this price range, I expect to be able to take a shower without having to aim for the water drops. Other than that: Perfect for a family of 6.

Here are the positives:
* The location is absolutely the best! Central to everything. 5-20 minute walks to 85% of all the top sights and over 20 top restaurants. (I have to give a HUGE shout-out to Juan Carlos at The Kitchen Cafe! The best breakfast every morning!)
* Clean and well-organized. The elevator made going up to the 4th floor very easy. Safe and secure neighborhood.
* For the most part, very quiet. We slept with windows ajar at night and road noise at night was minimal until about 6:30am when the city started to come to life. But, without fail, very loud (and somewhat inebriated) pedestrians would always wake us up around 2:00am or 3:00am. Small price to pay, I guess. We survived.
The negatives:
* The two couches in the living area are 1980's, plastic naugahyde that have seen better days. Worn and creaky. They were terribly uncomfortable and need to be replaced.
* Water pressure is minimal in the showers, which made it difficult to wash hair or feel like you got a real shower.
* Although 4 bedrooms, the second bathroom is not attached to any bedroom (it's down the main hallway) and it's small. Very small.
* The en-suite bathroom has a 12" step UP into the bathroom (or 12" step DOWN out of the bathroom) which can be a bit unnerving. I wish the owner would put a median 6"step to make the transition easier.
Overall - an excellent rental and we would be happy to return.

Great location, easy access to central Barcelona. Property needs maintenance, light fixtures hanging off walls, shower doors don't close, couches are old, cheap and torn. Needs painting, dishwasher should be screwed into wall so it does not move when used. Plumbing needs more than duct tape to keep from leaking.

My family and I rented this apartment in Barcelona and it was spacious and lovely. The WiFi worked really well, and there was a kitchen with a clothes washer. Spacious Barcelona Apartment
My family and I rented this apartment in Barcelona and it was spacious and lovely. The WiFi worked really well, and there was a kitchen with a clothes washer. The tub drains were a little clogged so I only gave cleanliness 3 stars, but that really was no problem. We absolutely loved the convenient location near the Metro and the easy walk to Placa Catalunya. I would stay there again.

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Eixample district. A fun, bustling neighborhood walking distance from everywhere but a little bit off the main tourist streets. The main window in the living room opens onto a view of a beautiful church. This was the perfect spot for our two families to explore Barcelona. There are four separate bedrooms - including one large master suite. Everything is bright and clean and in good working order. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in the heart of Barcelona! As it was our 4th time visiting the city we knew which area was the best for us. The apartment is very centrally located a 5min walk from Plaza de Catalunya and the airport bus. Very spacious and just as showed in the pictures. We were a party of 3 adult couples and a 9 month old and the apartment was perfect for us! The apartment was clean and everything was in order. Big kitchen with all the necessities, which was great with the 9month old. Wifi worked without a glitch. Communicating beforehand with Alex and Dani was easy and they always answered very quickly. When in Barcelona we called them from the airport and we were met at the apartment as promised. Everything went great and I would highly recommend the apartment for everyone, especially large families!

We stayed here for three days before leaving for our cruise. Dani was excellent in corresponding with me and arranging a transfer for us from the airport and to the cruise port. Very efficient transfer service and on time. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were 6 adults in our group. We had good wifi service and there were excellent restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to bus lines and the city centre. Cost for taxi to city center was 6 €. Would highly recommend renting this apartment for anyone visiting Barcelona .. thank you Daniel, your hospitality was very much appreciated!

We were a group of 7 - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 3 kids. The apartment is huge and there was more than enough room for us all. It's a beautiful older building with plenty of architectural detail - including gorgeous ceilings! The furnishings were attractive IKEA pieces, including the mattresses which were fine although perhaps not the best super-high quality. The kitchen is completely outfitted but it seems like nobody has ever cooked in it - there were no spices or oils left behind by prior tenants, so if you do plan to cook here you should plan to bring those with you. There was also not much in the way of toiletries, although each bathroom had a hair dryer and tons of toilet paper. Plenty of towels. Dani and Alex were wonderful and could not have been more accommodating.

This apartment is wonderful. Location is great and within walking distance to most of Barcelona sites. We were 4 women, so this comfortably accommodated us with the 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. You can walk almost anyway from this location, however taxis are easy to find if needed.
The apartment is well equipped with comfortable beds and linens, nice kitchen and 2 very nice bathrooms. Small conveniences such as hairdryers, clothes drying rack, and iron are all available.
Barcelona is a beautiful city and this apartment enhanced our experience. I highly recommend it!

When we got to Barcelona, we were so happy to see that his flat was exactly like in the pictures, if not even better: everything was beautiful and very very clean. My family and I had a very positive experience with the apartment in Barcelona. It was exactly as described but better located than I could have asked for. Only a short stroll to everywhere we wanted to go. There was also a great bakery about 3 houses away with nice coffee and fabulous bread. Also, being able to cook a meal at home was so nice after constantly eating out in restaurants. Dani was not able to meet us in person as he was on holidays. His replacement contact was harder to get in touch with and sent someone else who we didnt know to let us in the flat. Besides this hitch it was a most enjoyable stay.

We just completed a fantastic trip to Barcelona. Our four nights at Dani's place were great. The location was super central even allowing us to walk to some of the famous sites. The accommodations allowed for our group to have a comfortable place to call home for a few days. Kitchen was well stocked. Any issues/questions were dealt with right away by our host Dani. An excellent place to stay in Barcelona!

The apartment is beautiful and the location can't be any better. You can easily walk to anywhere in Barcelona and there are so many nice restaurants and shops around. The property is very spacious which was great for a family holiday. You have whatever you need for a great city break in this place.
Some previous reviews noted the noise issues. Yes there was traffic but it was quiet at night apart from one exception when a lot of party goers finished in the early morning and walked along the street (perhaps trying to catch the bus). As it's a city centre apartment this is something you would expect though.
Overall a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Barcelona.

We had a fantastic visit to beautiful Barcelona! The apartment was perfect. The neighborhood was very safe and the location convenient enough to walk to many of the top sites. Dani was very responsive to questions and he ensured a smooth check-in. We were very pleased with the apartment; large kitchen and central living & dining room, separate private bedrooms and lots of natural light. It was so nice to be able to walk out the door and grab an expresso or walk around the corner for excellent tapas. We would love to go back and would definitely stay here again.
