About this house rental
Nestled in Savannah, this attractive house for R 5,102 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Feel like a true Savannah native when you pull up to this clapboard home. The foyer with main staircase greets you as you wander throughout the first floor. A first guest bedroom with King bed is just to your left - perfect as a mother-in-law or teen suite. Just down the hall, guests will find a full-size bathroom, with a walk-in shower. Continue on, you'll find the dining room that seats six. The kitchen is ideal for entertaining, as it's fully equipped with every culinary necessity and is open to both the living room and dining room. Kick your feet up and watch the game in the living room, filled with ample daylight from the outside. A door to the private courtyard is just right and is the perfect spot to barbecue and enjoy the sounds of the city. Upstairs you'll find the remaining two bedrooms, one as the primary and the other a guest room with en suite bath. The primary has a King size bed, two full closets, and balcony access off of the bath. Enjoy soaking in the jetted tub after a long day of exploring the city. A flat screen TV can be found in the armoire. The guest room is opposite the primary suite and also has a King size bed and flat screen TV. The bath has a tub/shower combo and beautiful views of historic downtown. Prospective guests should be aware of a neighboring beehive. The bees keep to themselves on a second floor rooftop and are harmless, however guests with bee allergies should be cautious. Sleeping Configuration: Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: King bed Bedroom 3: King bed Parking: Non-metered Parking This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends. We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 85 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information. Three couples from NY FL and GA all met in Savannah and this rental was perfect!! Three king beds - which were all so comfortable - and 3 baths made it a great choice. We were in easy (20 mins tops) walking distance to everything!! Lafayette square was very close - which means Clary’s is close!! House was clean and exactly as shown. Once couple arrived early and were able to get early check in. Communication was easy and the app is very helpful. Will be back!!

We loved the house & its location. It was great for 6 adults. We wondered about the history of the house... if there is any it might be included in the descriotion.There were a few issues: 1. The refrigerator has a broken ice maker container & the ice will not dispense. You have to reach in for ice, and with the
broken container this task is very difficult. 2. Kitchen needs a cookie sheet or two. 3. TV room furniture is uncomfortable. 4. TV room is too small for a family of 6 adults to sit comfortably & watch TV or a movie. 5. TV is not easily seen since it is recessed in the shelving unit. I know not all travelers are concerned with the television room but for those of us that like to gather there it is important!

We spent a long weekend in Savannah to celebrate Grandma's 85th birthday. The house was great and luckily had a bedroom on the ground floor so Grandma didn't have to navigate the stairs. House is located in a nice part of town and close to all. Would certainly stay here again.

6 adult friends were a perfect match with the three bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and bathroom. The bedroom downstairs had use of the full bath on the main floor. The kitchen and living areas were ideal. I would book it again as a great value.

Charming home in historic neighborhood The home was clean and well stocked. Not a lot within walking distance, but short drive to everything we wanted to do. Disappointed that the waterfall in the back yard wasn’t working and the stairs off the back porch need some maintenance. Overall a great stay.

Our stay was amazing! The house was perfect and in a good location. Parking was never a problem. Beds were comfy and plenty of space! There are a few issues- though there were tons of bath towels, there were very few wash clothes. The freezer made ice, but does not dispense and the water dispenser was moldy. Two things that were issues from others are still not fixed: kitchen faucets are still broken and the water in the water feature outside has mosquitos. Overall, we were happy and would love to go back!!!!

My family and I took our traditional beach trip to Savannah/Tybee Island and rented Charming Charlton for our stay. The best feature of the house is its location - it is within walking distance of River Street, but far enough away that you don't feel caught up in the drunken party vibe of Savannah. The house itself is in need of maintenance. The kitchen faucet fixture was loose, a kitchen baseboard was missing, which resulted in cold air blowing strongly on the feet of anyone in the kitchen, and the master bath sink has lost its mounting to the wall. There also was a broken down sink/fountain in the backyard that held stagnant water that was a breeding ground for mosquitos and all sorts of other bugs. That, frankly, was nasty and should have been better dealt with. We weren't miserable, but we hoped for more and would not book this property again.

We chose Charming Charlton after an unfortunate unforseen problem with a property we were going to be in. Lucky Savannah went above and beyond in securing us a new home. We traveled with our daughter and her boyfriend. The bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. One bedroom downstairs and the two upstairs with balconies. It was a very peaceful neighborhood and we felt like we were home. There's a full kitchen to prepare any meal and an outdoor courtyard with grill to entertain and have fun. Our furbabies loved it as well. The home was very clean and inviting-we loved the old home smell of the wood floors. We would go downtown and park in the public parking garage and explore the city. We lucked upon the Halfway to Halloween bar crawl and enjoyed Starland Yard on Saturday for dinner. We visited the Blue Door Cafe for coffee and waffles on Saturday morning and had two seafood dinners at the Flying Fish on Wilmington Isl and at Dockside Seafood on Sunday evening. I'm ready to come back already! I shared our pics of this home on FB and everyone loved this home!

Amazing location ans home was fantastic. Two small things. The washer had sand in it and it got all over our clothes. The bathtub in the upstairs (non master) also didn’t drain well. Overall the property was great though, beautiful and very well situated.

We absolutely love Savannah so it was one of the stops for my 50th birthday celebration. This house has a nice floor plan and the layout worked well for us. We just had 3 in our group so each of us took our own bedroom and bathroom for ultimate comfort. We walked everywhere in downtown Savannah from the house. It was great to be able to walk and not have to deal with parking downtown. It's time for a few updates in this house. The blinds on the first floor wouldn't come down all the way so the person sleeping there felt like people on the street could see in. We put plastic bags over the bottom of the blinds for privacy. The beds were very firm for our taste and could use a topper, same for the pillows, too firm. Perhaps provide a variety of bed pillows so people can choose what they like. We felt some of the decor was specific to the owner and felt like a better idea would be to focus on Savannah. There are so many unique and eclectic things about Savannah and a vacation rental should focus on the city's charm. Overall we had a great stay, these are just suggestions for the owner to make it even better!

The Charming Charlton was the perfect place for our group of friends. The beds were comfortable and plenty of space to hang out in the living room. There are three bathrooms with lots of space to get ready. We took short Uber rides to the activities we booked. Parking is street parking, we were able to find a spot on the street right near the house. This VRBO was great, I would stay here again if I had another group trip to Savannah.

We had a lovely stay at our little Savannah home. The property management company, Lucky Savannah, was fantastic! We had some issues with our A/C on the first day and they came right out and quickly fixed the issue while we were out and about and kept us informed of their progress via texts.
The location of the house is good, but be prepared to walk about 20 minutes to get down to River Street. It's a nice walk though, so no complaint, just something to be aware of. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The master bed and bath is fantastic! It would be nice if the outdoor courtyard was a little better cared for, but it was certainly useable, as was the upstairs balcony. The only other thing we really wished we had on site was a recycling bin.
All in all a fantastic stay and definitely a rental we would return to.

The house was perfect, but I did think it was a little closer than it was to downtown but the weather would have made it hard to walk anyway.
