We have stayed at this Waipouli many times. First time using vrbo and in this building. We were missing a few items in our unit . The hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here .

Wonderful room and location!

Overall, a fantastic experience at this condo! The lazy river and hot tubs are a great amenity, and the east side of Kauai is a good "centralized" location for access to all the other interesting parts of the island. The condo was great overall, though cooking utensils could be improved (we bought a set of pans because there was no good pan for frying an egg).

This was great ! The pool and slides made my sons day. This is in the perfect spot you have beach just steps away and yet getting food is just as easy . We will be back !!!

Property was great beach was beautiful. Our only issue was Oasis shuts down on Sunday until Tuesday. We wanted to eat there but alas found another spot. Also would have appreciated a more flexible leave time. We would definitely be back can't wait to come again. Mahalo

Our party of 4 (two couples) stayed for 4 nights and thought the space was large, well laid out, and very accommodating for our party. The host was super easy to work with and communicated very well! We had an issue with the dishwasher, so we couldn't use it, but the host was quick to respond when we notified her of the issue. The location of the resort is great - many restaurants nearby and a Safeway which was great for picking up some groceries. We were a little disappointed that the resort didn't serve poolside drinks, so we had to bring our own each day. The restaurant, Oasis, wasn't a huge hit for drinks or food. That being said, the pool was nice and never super busy and the beach access is very close and convenient.

We visited Kauai along with another couple to celebrate our 35th and 40th wedding anniversaries. The condo was set up perfectly for two couples. We enjoyed all our breakfasts on the lanai. We were able to get beautiful rainbow pictures when it rained with the mountain background. We enjoyed the rosters outside the complex. The complex is very well maintained. The pool and all the surrounding areas are spotless. The pool is perfect for all ages, and we grilled several dinners poolside. I can not say enough about the complex staff. They work very had to keep the facility maintained .The condo has a Safeway grocery store right across the street, and pineapple market is right down the street which has many stores and restaurants. The condo had everything we needed including beach chairs umbrellas , cooler , and items needed if traveling with young children. The beds were very comfortable. There is access to ocean front lounge chairs where we caught several sunrises. We had a perfect ocean front dinner at Oasis on the beach which is right on site. We were able to Uber easily to some of our excursions. The host responded quickly to all of our questions, and we would highly recommend this location for your next trip to Kauai.

The photos were amazing, but arriving there was even better. It was spectacular, the place was clean, nice, with great views of the court yard. It was even better than we had expected. Perfect location to go north or south of the island, we recommend this place. We will be back for sure.

Overall, I enjoyed the unit. It was comfortable for five of us with two bedrooms with individual balconies, three toilets and two showers. The water source for the unit seems to be affected significantly if multiple people are trying to use the hot water for showering/baths. Very low pressure when using the washing machine also simultaneously with the baths being used. No USB outlets also
The resort does not have many employees, and so getting immediate information was problematic as the employees available did not have the answers to the questions I had. The grills were not working properly, which was an inconvenience especially if you are depending on them to prepare a meal for hungry kids at the pool.
There was not a bell service so baggage has to be carried to your unit which can be inconvenient depending on the amount of baggage one travels with. The codes provided via email for access to the amenities needs to be updated as it was last updated in 2021 and were not consistent with the details in the email provided. Some of the pool key pads we’re not working and so the codes to enter the pool did not work at certain entry points. There are only a few elevators and not in every building. It appears that there is only one elevator for a building, but not in every building. For example, We stayed in the F building, which does not have an elevator, and so one would need to use the elevator from an adjoining building. This can make your walk time much longer.

The property and location was very nice. Close to the market and shopping. Beach was walking distance but not the best for swimming. Pools were amazing just really cold and one of the hot tubs were shut down.
The only down fall was the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Smudges on the mirror, previous guests clothes and slippers under the bed. Also, had a unusual smell when we first arrived. Aside from all that, we would stay at this property again.

Great stay and location and even greater hosts! I goofed upon arrival and Harold and Priscilla were immediately available and responded.
Property has everything you need, but if you want to venture out there are great food options all around and just across the street from grocery and coffee shops.

We loved our stay at this resort. The condo was beautiful and just as shown in the photos. The owners responded quickly with any inquiries we had. The resort had a beautiful pool and hot tub. We would wake up each morning and watch the sunrise on the beach. We will definitely be back!

Condo was clean and comfy. If you lean over balcony a little you have a peak of water. View from condo was just ok but we were not inside much. Grounds, pool and beach all very nice. Water in Kauai is rough so we swam in pool after sitting on beach for views. There was a monk seal every morning on the beach which was very cool to see. Island is very easy to get around and driving times we’re not bad. Restaurant on site “The Oasis” is outstanding, we would stay here again.

Wonderful place. This was our 2nd time at this exact location. Has everything we need, 2 adults, 2 teens. Close to restaurants, shopping, site-seeing. Easy drive to the North of the island or to the South.

We had a remarkable stay at the Waipouli Resort and Spa. We had plenty of room for the six of us and privacy when we needed it. The facilities are wonderful with easy access to a well appointed and clean pool, plenty of lounge chairs, fun for the kids. There is a great gym and I can't forget a beautiful clean beach where I enjoyed beautiful sunrises.
Our hosts were incredibly attentive! Quick response when questions came up, accommodating when we wanted to stay an extra day, and intuitive in providing amenities we hadn't thought of, but were there when we needed them. I would go back to this property in a heartbeat!

This condo was so spacious and perfect for our family of 6. The pool and hot tub were great. We rented a car to get around which was a lifesaver to golf, snorkel and see Poipu beach. The property spa was also absolutely amazing - best massage ever. It is so convenient to get to a grocery store, dinner dining and ice cream shops. Great location!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was large for our family of 5 & laid out well. One room had a king with a double sink/toilet/shower/tub private bath & a walkout balcony with a table & 4 chairs. Another queen room had a private bath with a double sink/whirlpool tub/toilet & balcony with 2 chairs. There is a 3rd bathroom off the kitchen with a sink/shower/toilet. The child using the pullout couch was able to access that third bathroom without bothering anyone in the bedrooms.
We enjoyed the 3 balconies even though the views were not of a beach but rather the parking lot. You could glimpse a little ocean view off one of them. We didn't mind because the beach was a close walk downstairs. I was impressed with the speed of the washer/dryer that was in the condo. An arcade, ice cream shop & shave ice place are all across the street for the kids & a quick walk. So is a Ross & a grocery store.
During this trip to Hawaii, we also stayed at another condo on Maui & Disney's Aulani on Oahu. This Kauai property had the best room layout for our family of all our stays. While the pools weren't as elaborate as Aulani, they were much quieter & less crowded. I also thought the Oasis restaurant on site at this condo was one of the best meals I had during the entirety of our trip. I also found that we had all the information we needed for our stay from Priscilla before arriving & had no questions while there, which was not the case at all with our Maui condo. I would stay here again!

We picked this resort due to our daughter getting married close by. The resort is right across the street form Safeway Supermarket and is on the beach. The beach is somewhat rocky in the water so bring good water shoes butthe pool, beach and resort are very nice. No complaints at all.

Beautiful condo, lovely property - 2 master suites, perfect for the 4 of us. Wish there had been less rain and more hiking and snorkelling, but hangin' at poolside was magical! We will be back to enjoy the beauty of Kauai!

The condo was very nice. Clean. Rooms were all large and comfortable. Very soundproof; we weren’t sure we even had neighbors. Pool area, River, and pool slides were great. Onsite restaurant (The Oasis) was very nice. Was very convenient having the Wailua Shaved Ice right across the road 😄. Safeway, Ross, and snorkeling equipment rental was also close. We loved the ocean view from some areas onsite, but our view was more of the parking lot and the mountains/sunset. The elevator access was over in the next building.

We had a great visit. Perfect set up for a family of 4 with two young kids. Location of the property is in an ok location but it’s a short drive to a lot of the cool areas and the pool was great.

The whole resort is beautiful, but the unit itself is fantastic! It had everything my family needed. Check out instructions are minimal. You can tell that the owners take pride in their property to make sure you’re comfortable. We had the best time!

Overall a fantastic property and excellent location being at the midway point between the north and western ends of the island. The elevator situation is a bit confusing, but we were able to figure it out.
Pool hours are 7am to 10pm daily, with towel service only between the hours of 7am to 7pm, so plan accordingly. Property is close to lots of great restaurants and easy access to groceries across the street. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again!
