Maravillosa estancia en Barcelona

Las camas muy cómodas, el personal muy atento y muy amable con todo, desde la bienvenida nos sentimos muy bien acogidos dentro del hotel, tenían agua y café disponible para tomar en cualquier momento, el baño es amplio y tiene bidet por si lo necesitan, además, está muy bien ubicado para salir a conocer caminando la ciudad.

En la habitación se alcanzaba a escuchar a los húespedes de las habitaciones contínuas, esperábamos también que las habitaciones fueran un poco más amplias, nos quedamos 3 personas en una habitación de 3 camas y había poco espacio para dejar las maletas y demás.

Subpar

The location is nice and that’s about it

Everything was far from clean, the bathrooms are very old and literally rotting. The window had somebody’s greasy hand marks on it when we checked in. The rooms were insanely hot for some reason, even though the weather was warm and the air conditioning system in the rooms was turned off (as the receptionist informed us), so essentially it felt like staying in a hot room during heat wave in summer. During the breakfast included in our stay the staff opted for just not refreshing the food or cleaning up the plates after guests who already finished eating left … so the restaurant was essentially full of dirty dishes and far from fresh food. When we asked the staff to clean they said “why don’t you just sit here, we will take care of the plates later”. And the cherry on top was a lady (a member of staff) who just entered the room out of nowhere when we were getting ready for the day and screamed “todo bien???”. Really doesn’t match the 4 star hotel service I’ve experienced before.

Um grande e caro hotel onde se pode fazer de tudo menos dormir.

O sistema de refrigeração é uma piada. Durante o inverno só sai ar quente e durante o verão só sai ar frio. Como, supostamente, é um período frio do ano. Se você estiver com calor, morra. Não há o que ser feito. Se abrir as janelas para compensar a falta de refrigeração no quarto o barulho da rua não o vai deixar dormir. Se fechar as janelas morre de calor. A estadia é totalmente interativa. Se alguém dos quartos ao lado estiver conversando, com pouco esforço você pode fazer parte da conversa porque não existe isolamento acústico. Cada vez que alguém abre ou fecha uma porta no seu andar, as paredes do quarto estremecem.

Although I expected a newer room, I did enjoy the hotel. It provided what we needed.

The property was close to metro stations and a taxi stand. There were also so many cute restaurants, breadshops, and markets nearby. The breakfast served was absolutely wonderful, as was the breakfast staff. Coffee, tea, cereals, fresh yogurt and fruit, meats and cheeses, breads, jams, hot eggs and sausages, all in a lovely setting. The bed and bedding was perfect. I must find some pillows like the ones in our room. I slept wonderfully.

The bathroom has some mold. There was no ventilation and also no hooks or racks to hang any of our towels on. The minimal built in furiture in the room was old and showed signs of damage and wear.

Pet, work and friendly staff

I traveled with dog for work. It's a great spot for it. The staff are lovely people. I've stayed 2/3 times now.

The English couple that were complaining the TV wasn't working. You're in the greatest city in the world. Get out and explore.

Barcelona City is superb. People are very friendly and welcoming. pol & Grace charges very hi pric

Staff were good.

Price of room was way beyond very high and we think the hotel has charged us very inflated prices and has looted us. We don't recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Pol and Grace hotel! It is very conveniently located, in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood, yet close to a metro station to get to the center and a few wonderful bars and restaurants! The hotel was perfect for my needs, the room had everything I needed and ample space! Staff were extremely helpful and nice, there was always someone there! Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options! It is a great choice for your stay in Barcelona, if you wish to avoid the overcrowded center!

Front desk staff are nice and helpful. Hotel is dog friendly with no pet fee.

I stayed 3 weeks in total. There was water damage in my room (surrounding the mini bar), bathroom had a ton of mildew that for some reason is never cleaned, and the mini bar had a layer of black substance when I checked in (I specifically requested this to be cleaned, obvi). There was no full length mirror in the room (this is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in without one). I had a connecting room, and every time new guests checked in next door, they would try to open the connecting room for upwards of several minutes before giving up. As I stayed with my dog, he would start barking immediately and the guests somehow remained oblivious and continued. The guests here are not very bright it seems. I got sick 3 times during my 3 week stay (which is 3 years worth of illnesses). I think this was at least in part due to the potential water damage/mould issues in my room.

Very good

The hotel was very confortable, rooms had a good size and the staff was helpful and nice. The offer free coffe and tea, unlimited in the reception area. City centre and major tourist areas are easily accessible by public transport and there is coffee places and restaurantes nearby. Massive confortable king size bed.

The rooms are a bit tired and when we arrived the sink wasn't working (solved by staff quickly though). Sound proofing of rooms needs a bit improvement.

The terrace (unfortunately it closes at 10pm, but it's lovely), the artistic soul of the hotel, the lounge on the ground floor, the staff's kindness, especially at the reception and the girl at the breakfast. The room is clean and dimensions are ok for 3/4 day staying.

The staff change towels everyday even if you don't live them on the floor, you can't widely open the window, there's no room service for breakfast, the location is fine though not perfect. Rooms aren't well soundless.
